MissPattch Posted February 28, 2021 Report Posted February 28, 2021 So i detest cooking. Like, with a PASSION!! Daddy however, really enjoys it. So, to bond a little better, Daddy has been teaching me how to make stuff. Sometimes we do it on a phone call, so he can talk me through it, other times, he will write me detailed instructions for me to follow. Today i am going to try making Salmon for the first time ever >.< I mean not "making" it, cos its a fish, its already made, but cooking it i mean Its been a lot of fun learning a new skill, and it has given us the opportunity to spend time doing something together, even though we are stuck apart right now. 2
maddycakes Posted February 28, 2021 Report Posted February 28, 2021 - Jigsaw puzzles (do you start with the edges or the middle? Do you group by color? How do you solve the middle of an area that's all the same color?) - Taking turns teaching your partner about something you know but they don't (could be a skill or something more theoretical/academic, would give you a good gauge of someone's patience in explaining something to you and their listening skills) - Corn maze!!! (how do you handle being lost?) 1
StrngButSweetDD Posted March 2, 2021 Report Posted March 2, 2021 I definitely thing any puzzle or problem solving game is a great thing. Trivia, jenga, scrabble, word games, those fun couples strategy games. Anything that's fun and let's you see how their mind works. I always enjoy playing those with friends or couples for the same reason, you learn little nuggets about the person you never would otherwise! 1
