Dollie Darling Posted February 7, 2021 Report Posted February 7, 2021 I was just curious to have a section for ideas on what other littles find as good shows/movie/content to help them easier get into space. Some (things) have happened recently and I'm struggling harder than I would like to get myself back into space and I know that content is one of those things. Please NO Disney-. I do know that it tends to be a good little space theme, but I'm looking for ideas outside of that!
MissPattch Posted February 7, 2021 Report Posted February 7, 2021 i like to watch cartoons from when i was a kid, or any kind of fairytale- based movies. Current fave is Ella Enchanted ^^ 1
LittleTeacup Posted February 8, 2021 Report Posted February 8, 2021 (edited) Does it have to actually be on the tv? Because if I do decide to watch something I search on youtube and like the Muppet Show, Looney Tunes, and just about any classic cartoon short from the 30s-40s (many are disney, but plenty of others are from other studios). I also like animated fairy tales, and there's plenty of non-disney ones out there. Don Bluth animation might be a good choice too. You could even just try to search for animated movies with a subject you particularly like, like "animated horse movies" or "animated dinosaur movies" and see what comes up! You could find some relatively unknown gems that way! Two live action movies I loved as a kid are Milo & Otis (about the adventures of a cat and a dog - warning though a dog does give birth to puppies legit onscreen if that might squick you) and Dr. Doolittle (NOT the Eddie Murphy one, which I'm not a fan of. This one's from like 1969 I think and is based on the books.) EDIT: Also Thomas the Tank Engine!!! Edited February 8, 2021 by LittleTeacup 1
CallieBun Posted February 8, 2021 Report Posted February 8, 2021 my little pony, ever after high, and monster high are really good
blackiechan Posted February 8, 2021 Report Posted February 8, 2021 What's your little age range? For younger shows I like to watch cocomelon, baby looney toons, maggie and the ferocious beast. Slightly older shows I like to watch are things like the stuff you would find on "old skool" Cartoon network (like dexter's lab or powerpuff girls or codename knd, etc) 1
MysticSand Posted February 8, 2021 Report Posted February 8, 2021 My little and I love to watch We Bare Bears! It's on Netflix and some clips are on YouTube too I think. 1
Vampiress Posted February 9, 2021 Report Posted February 9, 2021 Sunny Bunnies on Youtube is one of my favorites, and they're always posting new content. SFW: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCHyeWVPbdJNWNxdlsKl3IYA 1

Kittykat83 Posted February 11, 2021 Report Posted February 11, 2021 Ben and Holly's little kingdom is funny 1
LittlePupRune Posted February 11, 2021 Report Posted February 11, 2021 I honestly really enjoy Bravest Warriors in little space. I adore Catbug. 1
middleprincess Posted February 24, 2021 Report Posted February 24, 2021 Pretty Cure is a cute show that reminds me of Sailor Moon. (And is in the same genre- it's about magical girls). That's officially streaming with subtitles on CrunchyRoll! I also like older sitcoms and the Pusheen shorts on Youtube. "Lady Lovely Locks" and "Jem and the Holograms" are both from the 80s but hit different notes for me. "Locks" is aimed more at a younger group, and "Jem" is more aimed at pre-teens/teens. I know Lovely Locks is on youtube, IDK that Jem is. (But it used to be on Netflix- and afaik the DVD release of the full series is still available to buy on Amazon!).
