lilgiggleberry Posted February 2, 2021 Report Posted February 2, 2021 Hey all! I'm lil giggleberry and I like modifying Mam soothers to replace the teats with adult-sized ones. Taking them apart lets me put my favorite buttons and shields together with a better-sized teat! So here is the challenging part. The "classic" design buttons have a little ridge that makes it easy to pop them off with a screwdriver when they're heated up a bit. But some of the designs, like Air, Perfect, and 0m+, have more of a rounded edge on the button, which has kept me from popping the button off. It's frustrating, because many of these soothers have the cutest designs! Any advice on getting the buttons off? Maybe something that could get a really good grip without chewing up the plastic? Attached is an example of one of the more stubborn styles.
lilgiggleberry Posted February 3, 2021 Author Report Posted February 3, 2021 Write the manufacturer for help? Manufacturer is MAM
Little kaiya Posted February 3, 2021 Report Posted February 3, 2021 I think they were suggesting writing to the company that manufacturers the pacifiers and asking them for advice on disassembly. I could be wrong though. 1
