Other middles who do extensive housework with manicures

So I am new to the manicure scene and I've started with Gel nails.

 

 

I do a lot of the chores, like cooking, cleaning, dishes (especially the dishes) and I was curious to if any other middles get tip manicures and to which ones hold up best. So far I'm trying the Gel nails and they seem to be working rather well. 

 

 

Any thoughts?

i use to have acrylic tips on all the time and do house work just fine. It depends on the length as to how careful you have to be, but if you keep them a sensible length, you shouldn't need to do repairs on them very much at all ^^

I've never tried acrylics, but ime gel has the longest staying power. However, even those tend to chip at the ends, so I tend to keep a bottle of polish the same color as my manicure so I can touch up the tips after chores are done for the day.
