LDR Tips and App suggestions?

Hi all, I've recently started talking to a guy and briefly mentioned to him that I was a little. He was a little confused at first but said he would be interested in potentially learning more about the community and maybe eventually becoming my CG. I was firstly wondering if anyone could give any tips and advice as he has never experienced anything in this community before and although I have been in and out of the community for a few years, I have never had a caregiver of my own.

 

I mentioned this forum briefly to him and although he is not quite ready to make an account, he does check out the Caregiver section now and then and has seen a lot of posts about rules, rewards and punishments. We've spoken about it together and he says that is something he would like to try one day and has a few ideas already for rules and rewards but punishments is where he draws up blanks because our distance and me sometimes being a brat, he has no idea if I would do them or not and he also doesn't want to do anything that would feel like punishing him too (like not being allowed to talk to him for a period of time, etc). I was wondering if there were any other LDR partners who had tips for making that work?

 

And lastly, I was wondering if there were any apps we could use together that could help with the CG/L dynamic and long distance. If it helps with suggestions, my little age is around the 2-6 age mark. I'm not sure what kind of apps would be good but open to ideas
