Bbgurl Posted January 7, 2021 Report Posted January 7, 2021 (edited) Why hasn't anyone considered a ddlg school (aka boarding school and day program n daycare) that has teachers ect. (Kinda like u read in ddlg books. Like I think it would be awesome to go and actually live that life for 6 months to a year and have someone take care of me ect. Am I missing something? I really think it would be an awesome idea Edited January 7, 2021 by Bbgurl 1 1 1
LittleTeacup Posted January 7, 2021 Report Posted January 7, 2021 Well it sounds more like a fantasy concept than reality, but maybe something similar could be set up. I'm not sure of the legality of something like this. Maybe something like a resort. I'm sorry if I'm bursting your bubble, but you'd have to pay for all that long term care and depending on what services you'd want it could be very expensive. And if you want it to be for littles only, I don't know how that could be possible. To exclude people who don't identify a certain way is probably illegal. Maybe there's something like your idea that could work though. I do think it's a fun fantasy idea though! 2
Bbgurl Posted January 7, 2021 Author Report Posted January 7, 2021 Yeah I mean even something as simple as like a summer program weather it be 1 week or the whole summer (even though I feel financially itd be a huge burden)
maddycakes Posted January 7, 2021 Report Posted January 7, 2021 There is a BDSM summer camp (Camp Crucible)! But yeah, like Teacup said, most people don't have the time or money to leave the real world for six months/a year to be taken care of by a service, hence why such a service has not been invented. However, I do think a CGl-themed summer camp where people could go for a week or two would be awesome! Again, there would have to be a lot of interest because in order for a camp to run, they need to make a certain amount of money (which would be a large sum if you're thinking they would have all the normal camp amenities like a pool, sports fields/courts, paid camp counsellors, a kitchen staff or catering service, enough laundry machines for the campers/counsellors, a medical person on staff, cabins for all the campers, etc.), so they would need to know for sure that they were going to get a lot of people participating, and the upfront cost would be prohibitive since you would have to convince a bank to give you a loan or get someone to invest in your idea (unless you are super independently wealthy, of course). Anyways, I agree that it would be a lot of fun, but even if a school or daycare were available at a low cost, I doubt most people would be able to go because they have work or other obligations.
Guest ☠Doobngoobr Hoobgz☠ Posted January 7, 2021 Report Posted January 7, 2021 It would be far easier to start up a commune of people with shared interests. The expense would be far less than a summer camp and the commune would be able to grow at it's own pace. But there are always expenses involved in any sort of facility where people live. 1
Vampiress Posted January 7, 2021 Report Posted January 7, 2021 (edited) I do know there is someone that does a sort of school for littles and they are a teacher, but I'm not sure if they want me advertising that here so I'm not going to take the liberty to do so. These things exists, I guess you just have to know where to look? It isn't a full year of school though and it is all completely online. Also, when the Covid stuff is more under control maybe you can find local events in the bigger nearby cities where they might have like a day or a weekend thing for pre-school and stuff like that. I think the easiest thing to do is rely on a Caregiver to give you tasks, projects, etc for something long-term. Kind of like homeschooling. Edited January 7, 2021 by Vampiress
Guest angel babygirl Gina tv Posted January 8, 2021 Report Posted January 8, 2021 What a brilliant idea were is this school and when does term start what a great idea
BrassyBabyGirl Posted January 9, 2021 Report Posted January 9, 2021 I am a stickler for legality and logic so I am not sure (when taking expense and leaving the real world into consideration) if it is actually able to happen for like 6 months. But a giant slumber party for littles and middles to run wild with Caregivers to watch over us for like a weekend? I think that is doable. Like tonight lol.....
Okudama Posted July 31, 2023 Report Posted July 31, 2023 (edited) Totally understand the appeal of exploring something different and living that ddlg lifestyle for a while. It sounds like a unique experience! However, as much as I love the idea, I also believe that education and school are crucial for our growth and future. Finding a way to integrate both could be the key. For me, college was a transformative time where I discovered new passions and had incredible experiences while still focusing on my studies. Colleges with Rolling Admission might be worth checking out. They offer a bit more flexibility, allowing you to explore your interests while pursuing your education. Edited August 16, 2023 by Okudama
Guest BabyBug Posted August 1, 2023 Report Posted August 1, 2023 Depending on your area there might be a littles group. Here in Dallas we have a littles night and kinky kraft night. There are little scouts as well some places. These aren't necessarily a school or daycare but can help fill a void if socialization is what you're searching for.
Ms. S -BabyPinkDom Posted September 7, 2023 Report Posted September 7, 2023 I run a daycare for littles, middles, ABDLs, pets and regressors in Washington state! You can find a link on my bio. 1
