Fun little ways to be healthy

Hi everyone. I’m looking for some advice from other littles, and maybe Daddys too. I have done quite a bit of comfort eating this year, and not exercised as much as I should. So now I can’t fit into my favourite dresses. Daddy loves me just as much in my newer, bigger dresses, but my old ones remind me of when he first called me princess, and I want to get back into them (and I want Daddy to get back into them! :-) ). I think my problem with exercise is that a lot of it feels too grown up, like working, so I can’t enjoy it. I’ve recently started dancing again, and that makes me feel much more positive. I need some healthy suggestions for little snacks, something without too much sugar. I love fruit, but although it contains healthy sugar, it’s still sugar, right? Also, does anyone know of any fun dance games or apps, maybe where you get rewards, cos I respond well to anything resembling praise :-) Thank you! Xxx

I personally like working out , but also get really bored. If my workout is boring me , I’ll throw on some rollerblades and go for a ride. As well as hiking , or just an outside walk to look at nature.

As far as eating goes , WATER WATER WATER. I can never stress water enough to people.

There’s different types of sugar and how they process in your brain and blood is completely different. I’m personally vegan , so it’s easy for my diet to be healthy. (Don’t let other vegans lie to you , we can have plenty of junk food.)

Omg, I would love to go rollerblading, if I had an ounce of balance and co-ordination :-)

Water is very important! To make water more fun, try to make fruit water. You can do this easily in a sippy cup. Choose the fruit you love: Oranges, lemon, strawberries, other berries, watermelon.. Try to eat some fruit in your day too! By cutting the fruit in bite size portions, you will have a cute snackie.

I looooove to hulahoop. I always say, going to the gym is not my thing. But when you do an exercise you love, you will most likely continue doing that. Try rollerblading, hulahooping, swimming (in the summer at a lake or the beach!), zumba, walking, rope skipping, etc. You can also look for your own workouts. I know it might sound silly, but KaisaFit has some workouts on her facebook page with toilet paper rolls. Maybe you can use a stuffie instead!

If you decide you want to hulahoop, I might have some extra tips. The most important one is: get an adult sized hoop! They are approximately 100cm diameter (or larger). And you might not want a weighed hoop if you want to do tricks with it.

Hopefully this helps a bit! xx

Thank you both. I have really tried to drink more water today - I’ve felt like I needed to pee every 5 minutes :-) I’ve read that the best things to put in it are lemon, mint, cucumber and ginger, so they’ve gone on my shopping list. Hulahooping sounds like a great idea, and less likely to cause bruising than rollerblading :-) I did find a skipping rope in the cupboard when I put Christmas decorations away, so I’ll be trying that too. I’m feeling quite positive at the moment, so let’s hope it lasts xx

Also , it’s kind of expensive but.....

My brother has a VR set. He doesn’t like to workout like gym workouts , but he downloaded Beat Saber for the VR console thing he has , and he said he sweats his ass off dancing and playing that game. ^_^
