☙✿ Build Your Own Arthur Axolotl ✿❧

A Fun Craft for any members who don't celebrate Xmas. Arthur, the Smile Club's group mascot, is a camouflagolotl. Meaning he can change colours to suit whatever the occasion. There's no wrong way to colour him in.

 

 

You Will Need:

• Scissors
• Print-out of the page
• Glue, Tape or Staples
• Colouring Supplies or Colouring App

 

(ignore my fugly nails, pls. I've been painting n doin' home repairs lol)

 

INSTRUCTIONS

 

1. Colour your Arthur however you'd like. I coloured mine to look kinda like a Jawbreaker. ^^

2. Cut out your pieces.

3. Align your Back & Front pieces (coloured sides outward) then glue together.

4. Do the same with Side A & B

5. Cut along the faded grey lines (allow to dry first if using glue).

6. Slot your pieces together to create your Paper Arthur.

•✬★ Where Do I Store My Crafts Later? ★✬•

 

You can carefully remove the stick from your thaumatrope(s) to store the disc somewhere that it won't get bent.

Your paper Arthur can be flattened and frongs removed to store in an envelope, which you could tuck away in a draw or your Journal if you have one.

arthur axolotl has my heart   I'd love to make it but i dont have anywhere to proudly present him at, so I may have to just color in some thaumatropes. Just seeing these fun crafts made me ridiculously excited.. like 'very bouncy hyperactive little' excited

i finished colorin your drawing, thank you for making it! heres arthur all dressed up in a scarf, mittens, and rain boots! i think the stripeys arent aligned quite right but the ideas still there, an i had lotsa fun coloring it
