I have returned!!!!!!

Hello everyone!!! It's Teacup, back from wherever I've been these last several months. Actually, I'm still living with my parents since my "temporary" layoff in March was made permanent last month. I've been pretty busy operating my instagram account, which is not ddlg related, and chatting with people in a music-related group there. I fell off the wagon here and it's taken me a long time to come back. Also though this summer I picked lots and lots of berries and even made blackberry jam!

 

So what has everyone here been up to recently? Tell me about the fun things that keep you happy during these dark times of semi- or full isolation! I'd love to hear from old friends and new people!

Yaaay!! Little Teacup is back!! What have I been up to? Let's see...family vacation in the mountains, massive cleaning and decluttering, lots of outdoors time, and recently I went back to work for a short time on Zoom! We did awesome spooky decorating in our house, and got to see a few friends on Halloween!

How was the blackberry jam?  I'm going to attempt chestnut jam today!  I stumbled across the recipe online and thought - why not!

Thank you everybody! Sometimes life just happens and we get distracted.

 

Yaaay!! Little Teacup is back!! What have I been up to? Let's see...family vacation in the mountains, massive cleaning and decluttering, lots of outdoors time, and recently I went back to work for a short time on Zoom! We did awesome spooky decorating in our house, and got to see a few friends on Halloween!

 

You're lucky to have gotten a vacation in the mountains! My family canceled all our short trips this year and I haven't gone anywhere. I have, however, been outdoors a lot! Lots of neighborhood walks and explorations of nearby neighborhoods. I dressed up cute for Halloween and took selfies for my friends. Trick or treating was allowed in my area so my family put candy in little baggies and set them in a basket on the front porch, but only a handful were taken so we have to eat the rest of the candy ourselves! Oh my! It's mostly Kitkats because they're my favorite "normal candy".

Thank you for remembering me! I guess it's a big returning time of the year. I've been super active in the past. So much excitement and posts to contribute too! The jam was really good, just a lot seedier than commercial blackberry jam. That's because the native blackberries have more seeds and are smaller than the domestic varieties. And the price can't be beat! Except it was super hot out when I tried to pick them so I could only do it for like 2 hours. Wow, I've never heard of chestnut jam! It sounds really cool!
