This last year and half has sucked. House burnt down July last year. Mom had nervous break down and found out she has Alzheimer dementia. Storage that we had stuff that survived fire burnt down in June this year. Now I might be loosing my job because of health issues. Don't know if I should starting looking for new. Or see what happens with this one. I suck at looking for new jobs. I hate doing interviews. What should I do. Stressed out and depressed.

There is a lot of stuff that has happened to you. If you like reading, I recommend stoic philosophy and especially Seneca.

If I was you, I would start new job hunting just to be sure. You may say that you suck with looking and interviews but the more you do them, the better you get and also it gets easier with experience. So, take this more as practise that maybe worth of gold later if you really need new job. Or maybe you find some better job with better job satisfaction, and therefore improved life quality.

It's always easy to say but try to find silver lining from everything. And try to note how strong you are as you have survived all that already -it is not easy.

I advice dialing 211. It will get the united way help line. They can help with rent, applying for long term social security or short term unemployment. Do not quite though, let them fire you so you qualify. They can also help with getting care in the home for your mom or even placement in a care facility if it seems like she needs it. That is a whole lot to go thru. Feel free to message me.
