Mandatorysmile Posted October 19, 2020 Report Posted October 19, 2020 Long story short, I am new to this community and new to kink in general. If anyone has any good tips, experience or resources that I can utilize that would be amazing. If you need any information about me I am happy to share. Thank you in advance.
RavenclawPrincess Posted October 19, 2020 Report Posted October 19, 2020 (edited) There's lots and lots of topics on the forum discussing this, have a look around and you'll find some good stuff. It can get a bit tricky to find DDlg specific educational content. A lot of the time I've found that studying other topics and applying that knowledge to a dynamic is really helpful. Here's a few to get you started on studying up if you're interested, these will work wonders on your relationships: -Effective/healthy communication -Active listening -Abusive and toxic behaviors -General mental health (Be ready to study more specific issues within that realm if you end up with a partner that needs support through anything like that) -In depth information about consent and what is/isn't consent, lots of people get confused. For example, compliance is not consent. -For kink related content, I really like Evie Lupine and Morgan Thorne on YouTube. There are plenty of other kink-based content creators as well so have a look and see who you can find that you like. Hopefully that's a few things to get you started outside of looking around the forum. Good luck and happy learning! Edited October 19, 2020 by RavenclawPrincess 1
Kitten&Spice Posted October 20, 2020 Report Posted October 20, 2020 Just to add what was mentioned before I would definitely check out muscle daddy bear and wattsthesafeword. Both are extremely useful sources! It is important to know yourself before jumping into things and what you look for in a little as well! Also I am sure you could find some really wonderful daddies/mommies that can offer some advice and tips but you have to be careful and trust that what information being given is useful! Also this one is really random but when it comes to like aftercare ideas, little related tools, and other things I have used Pinterest a lot as well! So you can use it for activities, movie ideas, charts, and much more! 1
RavenclawPrincess Posted October 20, 2020 Report Posted October 20, 2020 I also want to add that BegForJay is a TERRIBLE source, if you see him on YouTube definitely don't take his word as worth much of anything. 3

I despise begforjay , so much that I had to reply to this for slow golf claps. *slow golf claps* 3
