PolyMolly Posted September 25, 2020 Report Posted September 25, 2020 I'm wondering if anyone has a little list of public-appropriate ideas for your CG to remind you that they are looking out for you; for them to acknowledge your little self; or for them to remind you they're in charge. I am NOT looking for anything that would override anyone else's right to consent, or tip anyone off to the DDlg dynamic. Exactly the opposite! Just safe little secret or discreet signals that only you and Daddy/CG would know. Some I have thought of: Your CG using their pet name for you if it's appropriate (for us it's babygirl so it would be a tiny bit embarrassing for people to hear us but if we are somewhere where we're pretty anonymous, that's fine) Holding hands - maybe a specific hand squeeze A little bum pat when no one is looking Nose boop or kiss on the nose Maybe a pat on the head? What else?! Are there signals you use when in public or around others to remind you of your DDlg connection? 1
kittenbabycupcake Posted September 25, 2020 Report Posted September 25, 2020 My daddy squeezes my hand firmly and rubs his thumb across my knuckles. Occasionally he'll lean in and whisper in my ear that I'm a good girl. That usually helps. 1

I love the idea of a special knuckle rub or something similar.
CodeName: Trouble Posted September 25, 2020 Report Posted September 25, 2020 Something I think is really cute, when Care Givers point things out that are cute/pretty/ remind them of their little and say "Wow! isnt that amazing!" "Look at that, Isnt it pretty?" or even "Oh i think I know a little girl/boy/etc who would love one of those... maybe if they do all their chores...." stuff like that, outsiders listening in wouldnt think anything of it - but little questions like that to provoke wonder and innocently excite someones little side is a great one I think. For more quiet/physical cues, being gently guided away from something if I get distracted at the store or being held a little closer in crowds with a soft reminder to stay close also give me those good dynamic butterflies without being obvious Love all the hand holding too of course! 3

Oh those are soooooo nice! I totally know what you mean about the first one. I get butterflies just thinking about Daddy protecting me in a crowd by holding me closer! Thank you for these.
Guest BigDaddyDominant Posted September 26, 2020 Report Posted September 26, 2020 *takes notes* I love how innocent they sound to the common person but to the little your speaking directly to them. Something to add to my list of tricks when my little and I are in public for sure. Thank you! 1
junebug0325 Posted September 26, 2020 Report Posted September 26, 2020 Daddy really likes to play with my hair to help me feel better. He also lets me hold his finger to feel smol. Back rubbies are reassuring and nice, especially when whispering nice things in your ear and pulling me closer. I can't really think of anymore now, but if I think anymore I'll remember to post them! Junebug x. 1

Vampiress Posted September 27, 2020 Report Posted September 27, 2020 Those are all really cute, loved all the suggestions. I am jealous. Things I think would be cute:Daddy insisting to always hold his hand when in public Daddy helping me order food at the restaurant Daddy having me bring a stuffie and putting its seatbelt on in the backseat Daddy sometimes helping with my seatbelt Daddy tying my shoe if it gets undone Daddy helping put on my jacket or zip it up when it's cold
