Forgotten Love Letter

Just found a letter I got for either my birthday or valentines day and had previously forgotten about.

Reading it now cuts deeper than any knife ever could and guess these are nothing more than just words on a piece of paper now 

 

"I love you to the sun and back for infinity. You have given me so much love, support, stability, guidance, safety, comfort, more than I could have ever hoped or dreamed for. I know I am happiest with you and when I am in your arms my world feels right again, my head is quiet and my heart feels warm. You have given me a home and a little family to build upon and to love and cherish with all my heart and soul. Through all the ups and downs you are still the person I want to run to and cling to in every moment. You are the person I want to confide in, trust, love, support, cherish, grow with, and make a future with. I see a whole bright future with you that I never have with anyone else before. You are my home, my person, my best friend, my protector, my daddy, my love, my cheerleader, and my rock. I will always fight for us and for our future together no matter what comes our way because I know we can make it through anything. We are meant for each other and fit so well and we make a great team. So, what I am saying is you're stuck with me for the long haul.   You are the best daddy ever."

Aww that is the cutest letter I have ever seen! Honestly that probably would have made me cry reading something like that if it was towards me! I hope that things are well for you and the little who wrote you the letter! They seem to love you very much!

They’re not unfortunately. We’re no longer together, but I agree, it was by far the cutest, sweetest letter I had ever gotten from someone.

its sad how our whole world can turn on its head in just a second, but in that moment, when the person who wrote such a beautiful, heartfelt letter, you were the centre of somebody's universe.  Its a feeling to carry with you always, even if that person is no longer in your orbit. You inspired a love so deep, that one person in all the world laid their heart out on a piece of paper that would last for eternity.... thats an amazing thing <3
