darkprincess Posted July 17, 2020 Report Posted July 17, 2020 So I have an attic that I can do whatever with and it is HUGE. So I want to turn it into a little room for the winter. Unfortunately I can't heat or cool it so I have chose to use it during the winter when I can use a ton of blankies. I might get a space heater but am unsure yet. Anyone have a little room or any type of littlespace designated area? Picture ideas are a bonus but I'll take several ideas and suggestions! I'll also post pictures when it's done.
Satan Posted July 17, 2020 Report Posted July 17, 2020 I have a little / art room. Its got larger black pieces of furniture and then tons of pastel stuffies , blankets , pillows ECT. I have my princess tent and different wall decals of stars and unicorns I've made. I've got photos in my gallery of some of the room if you wanna check it out and get inspiration. Emillia Posted July 17, 2020 Report Posted July 17, 2020 I live in a student room which I have divided in two parts: a working and dining area and a sleeping and littlespace area (feeling little helps me sleep too). I don't have any pictures for you, but I can give you some tips on what made me help dress up that area. - On my bed I have a hello kitty or a princess cover. Also lots of stuffies of course and fluffly blankets. - I use wall stickers to dream away with. I have the horse on a rainbow from A Little Lovely Company. - Soft lightning is a must! Cute fairy lights are almost everywhere available. Night lights are great too (try to find one without a timer if you want to use it as a regular light). I also have a LED-strip stuck across my window that has many colours and lights you can dim as much as you want with a little remote. - Soft and cute rugs to play on are always good. I have the sass&belle little sheepy rug. - Make a little spot to put your toys, (colouring) books, and tea set. There are lots of nice ways to do this: you could even just put some cheap shelves up and DIY some lace on it or something like that. - Make it smell nice! I use incense from HEM with baby powder scent. Since you have a lot of space you could even invest in something like chalk paint and paint a door or wall to draw on! That stuff is available in most colours nowadays. Or you could buy a little ball pit.And try to find your novelties! You can find cute stuff everywhere, you just have to look. IKEA for example now has a cabinet in the shape of a dollhouse for children's rooms which is super cute. Or maybe you could make or buy a little fairy door? This is all I could think of for now, I would love to see how it turns out! ♡
