Kitten&Spice Posted June 21, 2020 Report Posted June 21, 2020 Hello hello~ I hope all is well and everyone is having a fantastic day! I wanted to ask littles what they have named their stuffies and how do you go about naming and remembering them! I think that every stuffie deserves a name! And they should be unique and special! However I find that my little self tends to do the complete opposite! I tend to name all my stuffies some kind of generic and typical American name. Don’t ask why I just do that. I have even done it to animals where I named one I assumed was a male George. Again why I do this I have no idea. Part of me assumes it is just the fun and the teasing aspect. I even give all my pets middle names...yes you heard me right middle names. Anyway enough about me I was curious what you have named your stuffies and why you named them that?! And did you name them while you were in little space? Thanks and I can’t wait to read your response! 1
MissPattch Posted June 21, 2020 Report Posted June 21, 2020 (edited) I don't remember how the conversation between Daddy and i got started, but i asked him to help me pick a name for my bear, and he asked if he was soft or fluffy, so i said he was furry, and he remarked about the song "Furry Walls" by Russel Brand, so we watched the video, and cos my bear is a generic bear, not polar / panda / grizzly etc, we settled on "Jeffrey" cos hes a mix of all sorts I call him Jeffers for short and he's the only one i have <3 Edited June 21, 2020 by MissPattch 1
Guest clumsy_little Posted June 22, 2020 Report Posted June 22, 2020 My teddy bear's name is Coco because I bought him after we watched the movie Coco. My doggo stuffy's name is Mr Cookie because I was eating choco chip cookies while we bought him. 2
LullabyBye Posted June 22, 2020 Report Posted June 22, 2020 I tend to name my stuffies after things or characters they remind me of. I have two teddy bears, one I named Tedros, taken from a book I was reading, and the other one I named Grim because he doesn't look as happy as the average teddy bear usually does. 1

LittleCoffeeMug Posted June 24, 2020 Report Posted June 24, 2020 I think stuffies all should have names too! I never thought of middle names before I think that's cool. Right now I have two stuffies. A big pink bunny named Mr. Lama Lamakins. Kind of inspired my Mr.Bear from gravitation. And a green penguin named Puddles to remind me of a date me and my boyfriend went on. It rained that day when we got maching stuffies and we spashed in puddles on the way back to the car. 1
Bearly Posted June 24, 2020 Report Posted June 24, 2020 I don't have a littlespace but I do love my vast plushie collection. The three ways I name them: -Joke/pun -Obscure scientific word -Shorthand for what they are As an example of pun/joke names, I have General Purpose and Captain Planet, who are teddy bears covered in peace symbols in military uniforms, whom I call my peace corps. Or Polaroid, because she has polar magnets in her hands. For obscure scientific words, I have gems like Rubisco (intermediate molecule in photosynthesis) and Pivnert (aka PV=nRT, the ideal gas law). The shorthand ends up sounding cute, such as my blue peace bear named Bloopy (BLUE PEAce bear) and Cocobun (brown bunny). 1
