LittleprincessEll Posted May 2, 2020 Report Posted May 2, 2020 (edited) Hi , How can you get sleep when in little space? Edited May 2, 2020 by LittleprincessEll
Little kaiya Posted May 2, 2020 Report Posted May 2, 2020 I fall asleep very easily when I'm in littlespace. In bed, I curl up on my Daddy's chest, lay my head down and listen to his heartbeat as He gently strokes my hair and my nose. If we're cuddling on the couch I lay my head in His lap then lay on my side and cuddle His leg as he strokes my hair. Falling asleep on Daddy is such a warm, wonderous and amazing feeling. Sometimes He will place his thumb in my mouth and I suckle on it softly as I drift off to sleep. 1
Guest littlebabyslittlespace Posted May 2, 2020 Report Posted May 2, 2020 I listen to lullabies or music boxes on youtube, Daddy reads me a bedtime story, I have a sleepy time tea or hot milk and I cuddle a teddy 2
Guest SoftPrincess Posted May 3, 2020 Report Posted May 3, 2020 If I’m with Daddy then Daddy brushes my hair till I’m all drifty and then lays me back into his arms, reads me a story and I’ll drift off during that If I’m not with Daddy then I’ll put on a story that my Daddy recorded for me and drift off with that on. If that doesn’t work (I’ve been struggling to sleep with the whole lockdown business) then I’ll put on a sleep podcast and snuggle my teddies. 1
LittleCinder Posted May 3, 2020 Report Posted May 3, 2020 I ordered a bunny stuffy on Amazon because it's been really rough for me lately and I wanted something to hug here and there. It got here yesterday around lunch and I went into little space as soon as I realized what the box was. I opened it, freed it from it's bag 'cause they had it in a plastic bag so it couldn't breathe!! and hugged it and fell back on the bed and immediately fell asleep feeling really safe and secure and peaceful. It was naptime, apparently!Last night was the same. I've been having a lot of problems sleeping, and while it's too early to tell for sure, I think this is really going to help me. Maybe you can get a stuffy. Even if you have a partner, they probably won't mind you having a stuffy at night if they know it helps, considering the dynamic.
LittleTeacup Posted May 4, 2020 Report Posted May 4, 2020 I don't generally have much of an issue falling asleep when I actually decide to turn off the computer/phone and try, but what I like to do is think/daydream about nice stuff (anything from a fun adventure with friends to a future partner to a future apartment etc), cuddle with my pillows and blankets, and squeeze a pillow between my legs. I also like to sleep in complete darkness except for moonlight. Blaring lights from a tv, clock, etc can impede sleep. Occasionally if I really have trouble, I'll sit up and have a drink of water, or go to the bathroom. Then when I settle down again, I can fall asleep easier. OR, I'll give up trying and read a book/my phone for a while. Then I'll get sleepy. 1
LittleprincessEll Posted May 18, 2020 Author Report Posted May 18, 2020 What if you are a single little? Or who’s daddy or mommy can’t talk to them? 1

I've also been struggling to sleep with the lockdown thing going on.. and now that Daddy and I are seperated, it's even harder for me to fall asleep. 1
MissPattch Posted May 18, 2020 Report Posted May 18, 2020 For me, its all about routine. I'm almost always in my little space just before its time for bed, and doing things in the same order gets me ready for sleep. I have set bedtimes as well now, cos my sleep was really bad before, and now, even if i was fine at 10pm, by 10:45pm my body starts to shut down for the night (bedtime is 11 most nights). Daddy does my bedtime checks, teeth, tablets, and such, i grab my stuffie, he tucks me in, and 9 times out of 10, thats me gone. Sometimes, if i've had an emotional or a hard day, he'll talk about it with me, help me get my head back on straight and then do all the above, but i definitely think the routine is what does it for me <3 1
Thequeenslittle Posted May 20, 2020 Report Posted May 20, 2020 When me and my caregiver didn't live together, I had a stuffed animal from her that i slept with every night and held and that definitely helped me we would also video call each night while i was getting ready for bed and id lay down and turn out the light and we would say our goodnight and talk until we both fell asleep. That was amazing that we had the ability and privilege to do that every night and i know many people aren't as lucky but i know it always made it so easy to fall asleep. 1
