Here comes trouble...

So Daddy and i have rules, and i'm almost always super good at following them to the letter, but just lately, i keep forgetting stuff, and doing the wrong stuff and i feel like i'm always getting myself into trouble. It got so bad the other day, we had to make a new rule to keep me from forgetting the original rule, and  as if i went and forgot again today!!! Somebody please tell me this is just a phase caused by covid cabin fever and that normal service will resume soon?? Somebody please help me figure out a better way to help me remember what i've got to do...does anybody else forget stuff sometimes? How do you get around it?

Hey, Pattch! My memory is pretty shoddy most of the time, but I found what's really helpful is having my rules posted somewhere I see them often. I keep my rules taped to the wall behind my computer while I'm working from home so I don't forget any of them! I also use all the sticky notes all over my home to help me keep track of important things, like medications I have to take, or chores I need to do. I use bright star shaped sticky notes because they catch my eye really easily!

Hey Princess Sarah, thanks for replying so quick!! I didn't even think about little sticky notes!! thats an awesome idea :D thank you!! I just have a list on my desktop right now, and my lines pinned up in appropriate places, but i think little notes all around the house would be perfect <3 tyvm ^^

Thanks for all the amazing ideas!! I love the sound of The "Remember the milk" thing, i read the page and saw that it works with Alexa, but only in the US >.<  I will definitely keep an eye for it coming to the UK ^^ I have a list, Kaiya, but i keep forgetting to check it to make sure i got them all lol, i need something thats going to tell me what im doing and when, until i get back into routine again  :/

If you'd like to make a game of it... Habitica is a great way to keep up with goals and things you need to accomplish throughout the day, and then the game/app rewards you for doing what you're supposed to! Then you also make your Daddy happy so it's like a double win! Totally SFW.

hmm, interesting... I think it's mostly cabin fever BUT if you are anything like me that might be just a sign that you either need a spanking/punishment or that the rules are not practical (maybe the rules work but with quarantine they do not and need a temporary adjustment).

 

I have noticed I have been dropping my phone a lot for example. I am the infamous person who never has dropped her phone and when I get a new one my old one looks brand new! well, with quarantine I have been dropping it at least 3 times a week :/ it affect us in all kinds of ways lol

 

If you are forgetting rules, perhaps the answer is less rules for the time being, adding an extra one so you "remember" is just an extra one you will forget if your mind is a bit foggy right now.

A spanking or a physical punishment would most definitely do the trick, but alas, we are LDR and still in Lock down over here, which i'm sure is what the root of my issue is. I don't have a huge amount of rules, and the ones i do have are ones i've been following for a little while now. I'm a creature that needs structure and routine, so i think a way of reminding myself about the rules would probably serve me  little bit better as opposed to cutting back and the reintroducing them after. Thanks for your input, i appreciate all the comments so far <3
