I could be wrong, but I think the rule might be that she wasn't supposed to fall in love with him? If that's what it is, you can't help your feelings. With how close DDlg relationships can be it doesn't surprise if one or both sides end up having feelings even if it starts out as platonic. If he doesn't want you loving him like that, you can still possibly make it work just by not pressuring him into a relationship. Whether that'll work long-term I'm not sure, it depends on if you can remain in such an arrangement while having feelings that possibly won't be returned.

I don't think you've "fucked up." You can't help your feelings or who you love, and can't control it. I'm not sure why he couldn't still be your Daddy without loving you back, it seems weird that he'd just end it like that. Maybe you could reason with him if you tell him you won't put any pressure on him or expectations because you knew what you were getting into?
