baba! Posted April 17, 2020 Report Posted April 17, 2020 Hey lovely CG's! My baby and I have just recently started with homework assignments. I give him little assignments to do and I give him a grade on it to exchange for points and rewards! However, I'm running out of ideas to give him. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks! -Mama
Vampiress Posted April 17, 2020 Report Posted April 17, 2020 (edited) I'm not a CG but thought I'd make a suggestion anyways as I wish someone would do stuff like this with me. I'd try assignments and activities where you can teach him more about you and the things you like and also assignments that have open ended questions or prompts for him to teach you about the things he likes so you can use this opportunity to get to know each other even better than ever. Example: If you're into flowers you could have him look up different flowers you like and draw them or give a random or specific fact you're seeking. Or you can draw them/print them and have him label what each one is and color them in. Then you can have him draw or color a number of flowers he really likes. Then to show off his creative side he could make up/create his own flower. If he's into cars you can have him pick his favorite of each type and set up a prompt where he tells you a little bit about each car he likes. Maybe as a reward you can get him a toy car like a hot wheel or one of the other brands. You can be so creative and present each of your likes in a variety of ways and make a ton of assignments just out of that! Edited April 17, 2020 by Batgirl 2
princess cotton grass Posted April 17, 2020 Report Posted April 17, 2020 i'm no cg but i'd like to give my two cents ♡ it definitely depends on the age of your little as to the difficulty of the homework. there are lots of sites full of school work printouts to do with basic numeracy and literacy. u can refine by the grade and subject too. https://www.greatschools.org/gk/worksheets/ (SFW) is a really good website. hope this helps! 1
little-luna Posted April 17, 2020 Report Posted April 17, 2020 I agree that it depends on the "age-space" hes in! But the homework assignments where you get asked a question and you have to respond with a drawing and writing is also fun (imo). Ex: "What is your/my favorite thing to eat?" And they'd draw a donut for example and write a word/sentence to explain! OR it can be a funnier question like "If you could combine two animals together, which animals would you choose? What would the new animal look like? What would it be called?" That one requires more imagination, but I also think its very fun to try! Im also not a cg.. xD Just my thoughts... I think its really cool youre doing homework assignments 1
baba! Posted April 17, 2020 Author Report Posted April 17, 2020 (edited) Thank you guys for your ideas!! I will definitely try those, they're so cute! I created a workbook for him and included a bunch of print out worksheets so I think that will be a cute fallback when I can't think of anything Thanks!-Mama Baby boy's safe space.pdf Edited April 17, 2020 by baba!

It was the cutest thing!!!! I took some of your suggestions and right now he's drawing a picture of two animals crossed into one and telling me all about it! Thank you guys for the ideas! babygirlAbbie2 Posted April 17, 2020 Report Posted April 17, 2020 omg this is such a cool and cute idea!! you could give him a project with a certain thing (type of animal etc.) to research and learn everything about and make drawings and stuff for it. maybe insert some colouring pages/activity pages from the internet (like the ones kids get in school) you could give him a picture to recreate as a drawing or to describe like in English lessons. Im not a CG but I though this was cute, hope it helps Abbie x 1
Guest Minister Judas Posted April 22, 2020 Report Posted April 22, 2020 Maybe a weekly poetry or coloring assignment? Exercise assignments? 1
MysticSand Posted April 24, 2020 Report Posted April 24, 2020 Looking up an easy recipe for you two to try together! Looking up the weather each morning (simple one)! Giving him a picture for him to create a story to! Have him start a scrap book with pictures (drawn or printed) of things you do together! 1
