To me at least, "babygirl" is a nickname. Though if you mean little girl, then yes, that is a type of little. Littles can be little girls, little boys or just littles.

my understanding is little are age regression and play. Babygirl is not and more for care giver and structure frame in life

I don’t think baby girl is a super well defined term in the community like Little or the acronyms are. It’s more just an endearment like Honey or Sweetie. 
 

I suppose you could say a babygirl is someone who does more roleplay than regressing, but I don’t think that is a common understood use of the word.

Hello! In my realm, babygirl is just something that a Daddy calls their little as a sort of nickname or pet name! My Daddy calls me Baby Doll, Babygirl, Kitten, Baby, Sweetie! I never believed that there was anything different between being a little and a babygirl! Hope this helps!
