We're goin on a bear hunt, who's coming?

We came across this and thought it was a really fun idea and thought it sounded like something our community would enjoy and could help spread.

I'm pretty sure some of you have a bear or something you can place in a window.

I will be placing a bear on the dashboard of my car for all the hunters to spot.

Let us know if you see any bears out in the wild or even in your own neighborhood.

And if you happen to get a pic you can share it with us.

I'm barely leaving my house except to walk around the neighborhood and the houses are set too far back from the street, so I don't know if I'll see any. And nobody would see a bear I put in my family's front room either.

 

But I see all the bears in my room! Most are Pooh Bears because I love him and he decorates some of my clothes and other things. I even have a little framed picture of Pooh and Piglet giving Tigger a bath!

I haven't left my property since Tuesday except to test drive the car after I did some work to it. I will have to go to town in the next day or so to get water and supplies so maybe someone will see the one I put in the car, maybe not since we are on lock down. Otherwise the only people that could see one in my house window would need a helicopter and I haven't heard one of those in almost 2 weeks. Looks like it may just be me and the bear lol

I totally love this idea, I hope it comes over here too (UK).

Even if there's not many people to see your bear at least you feel you're joining in, and hopefully it will make YOU smile even to see your own bear 

 

I go out for a walk once a day, and some of the windows have kids pictures stuck up for everyone to see. It's popular for kids to paint a rainbow and write "Stay home" with a smiley face or something like that. It's really nice. I look at it as a way to say "hey, we're doing this to be nice to each other, not to be unsociable". Same reason I call out "thank you" and smile when people keep their distance, because people were walking around looking scared of each other which is horrible and in normal circumstances it would be a hostile gesture to deliberately move away from someone IFYSWIM. A thank you and a smile makes a big difference.

 

Maybe I should try to start the bear hunt here. Thanks for sharing!

Bringing this back. Put a bear in your car window, hang one off your backpack, wear a shirt with a bear on it. Let's all get bear 🐻
