NYC Meetup: Alice Tea Cup

I've tossed around this idea in my head for awhile......

 

One of my favorite baby destinations on earth is the Alice Tea Cup cafe in NYC and I wanted to make a feeler post to see if there was any interest in having a meet-up there. It's just the most delightful place. It's where I achieved my dream of having a tea party with the person I love and I know most if not all littles would enjoy its baby blue, Alice in Wonderland themed decor. It helps that the food is amazing too. Home made, health conscious, and light. (Scones, teas galore and the best tea I ever had, sandwiches, cookies, cakes, oh my.) 

 

I'm not sure when this would take place. Autumn? Winter? Spring? Summer? I would say that it would be safe to have at least a hundred dollars on you for transportation, the restaurant, and any other activities that we want to do. I mean, not everyone lives close so we would definitely do more than Alice Tea Cup. (I'm two hours myself.) We could go to Build-A-Bear, Coney Island, Botanical Gardens, etc. I love planning things and I'm a pretty good planner so I'm not concerned with having things to do. (Suggestions are welcome too of course.) 

 

I just thought I would bring up NYC to see if there were any nearby littles with interest. My preference is for this to be a little only event although I understand some papa bears may be reticent about letting their baby go alone to NYC (including my own) so we can discuss this too.

Here's the site. I've been to the Chapter 2 destination a few times and none of the others. It's the biggest and my personal favorite.

Now I almost cry, I would love to come, it sounds so perfect. But since I live in Sweden.. Oh well..

Aww, I wish you could come.   I hope others want to come too. It would be lots of fun.

 

It would be nice if a more Western European meetup popped up for littles too.

Oh my god..I need to go! I was actually considering visiting NYC since my best friend moved there a couple of years ago. I think I'd go during January/February.

Great! I was just thinking winter might be a good time this morning. I went once around Christmas and it was beautiful....but very cold! Everyone would have to dress warmly but it could definitely work.
