RainDoeSprinkles Posted March 12, 2020 Report Posted March 12, 2020 Now that I know my identity as a little, I am able to recognize times when my littleness manifests itself! I would love for us to share those little "Aha!" moments together! Here are a couple of mine that happened today: Realized at work that I spent my lunch money on stickers yesterday! Feeling totally in my element as Sesame Street plays in my workplace! 2
MissPattch Posted March 12, 2020 Report Posted March 12, 2020 I like this idea my "Aha!!" moment was when i realised i suck my thumb more than my 2 year old does his ^^ and knowing the Makaton for all the nursery rhymes but not for actual conversation >.< 2
molliedollie Posted March 12, 2020 Report Posted March 12, 2020 When you have a shopping list but still come home with three new bottles, crayons and a coloring book. 2
AlexanderWreath Posted March 12, 2020 Report Posted March 12, 2020 When I realized I'm more invested in watching the movies or shows that were put on for my little nephews and nieces more than they are. 2
Quirkygrl16 Posted March 14, 2020 Report Posted March 14, 2020 When a kid comes into your work with a tablet playing a kids show and you instantly start humming along and rin up to talk to them about the show 1
LittleTeacup Posted March 18, 2020 Report Posted March 18, 2020 I know I'm little when I play with my crocheted bee by "flying" her around. Also I bought a child's rocking chair last week at an antique store. I have a pin that says "I need an adultier adult!" and often want to be picked up. Oh, and I've been slightly uncomfortable for a long time with calling a partner "boyfriend/girlfriend", but when I think of it as getting "adopted" I feel a lot better, like it's right. 1
LittleTeacup Posted March 23, 2020 Report Posted March 23, 2020 Another one! I was browsing through my township's summer recreation catalog and the kids activities were so much more appealing than the adults' ones. The kids get a Princess & Pirate Party, several concerts, group playtime sessions, etc and the most interesting adult option among a short page of boring stuff was a pottery class! 1
