MissPattch Posted March 9, 2020 Report Posted March 9, 2020 I was just wondering if there are any littles or CG's around that use online journalling as a way of communicating, and sharing thoughts and feelings? I love keeping a diary / journal type kinda thing, but its always been in a book, and sharing that over long distance doesn't really work so well, so i've been looking into online journals. A safe place to write my thoughts and emotions and stuff, that only Daddy and i have the login for. So i can write, and he can read. Sometimes i find it easier to explain whats going on in my head if i write it, cos the words get stuck sometimes, when i'm feeling particularly little / subbish. Does any body have any recommendations, or suggestions of better ways to do something like this? I'd love to hear from you all ^^ 1
Guest Lavendar Bunni Wubbins Posted March 9, 2020 Report Posted March 9, 2020 I have heard of people using things like Google Docs to keep track of stuff for their littles, whether it's things they wanna talk about, or chores, etc. I haven't heard of much else though! 1
MissPattch Posted March 9, 2020 Author Report Posted March 9, 2020 I have a little book that my rules are written in, and we talk a lot every day, but the journal is for things that don't fit into conversation any where... Like, when we're out of touch and something is on my mind, i can journal it and then he can go look when hes got time, and either give feedback, or set time aside to talk about what was going on when i wrote it. Or at leass, thats how i'm hoping it wil work... Google docs is just like a notepad, right? That i can share with others?
Guest QueenJellybean Posted March 9, 2020 Report Posted March 9, 2020 i use my Tumblr for stuff like this! my Daddies have me fill in a short questionnaire that's like a diary page every day, which helps them keep track of how i'm doing. i like following other littles & being able to keep all my ideas in one place. i also like the idea of keeping a photo diary on Snapchat specifically for my small side. seeing photos of how tiny i've been in the past helps me when regression is hard in the future. 1
Tasherz Posted March 9, 2020 Report Posted March 9, 2020 I think Google docs is an awesome one as Bunni said. I used to use it with my ex to keep notes and groceries and we weren't even long distance. Plus you can always write in your book then type it later or have the app on your phone and type it as it comes up! 1
MissPattch Posted March 9, 2020 Author Report Posted March 9, 2020 How does Google Docs work with sharing though? You just share the login details, or you have to give permission for someone else to access? I've never used it before :/ 1
Tasherz Posted March 9, 2020 Report Posted March 9, 2020 You put the persons email address in, If you want to PM I can add you to one of my google docs forms and show you!
MissPattch Posted March 9, 2020 Author Report Posted March 9, 2020 @Natashers Yes please !! i would really appreciate that thank you ^^
Guardian_Witcher Posted March 9, 2020 Report Posted March 9, 2020 For keeping documents organized, one great way of doing it is using google docs. I would suggest using google drive and google docs. Then creating main document where both dom/subs / daddy's/littles etc can share links in one document w each other. For example, maybe you wrote out a rule for your little, as well as you want them to keep a food journal, and have important other things listed in seperate documents. By creating google docs and then sharing them w your little, and then linking that document to your main document, it simplifies sharing and reviewing those documents on a regular basis. So the main document in this case would link to 3 seperate documents (thereby keeping the main document from becoming overly large or cluttered. It also makes adding, removing, or updating documents and things you've talked about much easier as everything is kept in one space. Happy linking, and i hope this helps people simplify and organize themselves and their littles. Remember, people don't have infinite memory so simplifying your and your little's life this way, while taking a bit of effort, is well worth it.
