Lilnugbigworld Posted March 2, 2020 Report Posted March 2, 2020 To start off, hello everyone, my name is Diana. My daddy dom and I have been wanting to decorate some pacis together for the longest time and I finally got the money to purchase some. I've been having one big issue though, does anyone know where I can get those big, cute centerpieces? I can't seem to find out what they're called or where to purchase them for the life of me. If anyone could help, that would be much appreciated. 1
SweetBabygirl74 Posted March 2, 2020 Report Posted March 2, 2020 (edited) Hiya, you have to make them yourself with resin. I decorated mine a few months ago and made a heart with writing inside You need to find silicone moulds of the form you want, then you use resin and stuff to put in. Best to use UV resin, because it's easier than having to mix it and then waiting for ages for it to try I would suggest that you look for a pack, that has already most of it in it, to start. I got mine from Amazon: https://tinyurl.com/wj93ghu they have different variations For mine I used a heart & it took me several months of ordering heart moulds over heart moulds until i found the heart i wanted If you planing on using a heart as well, here is the link to the one i ordered: https://tinyurl.com/v5enhbp I used Clear Acetate Sheets to do the writing [https://tinyurl.com/vq8v8k2] Unfortunately the ink from my printer isn't waterproof, due to this the colour dissolved in the resin, plus the print out wasn't too strong to begin with & so far I didn't find out how to fix that So what I did was printing out the words and then putting the sheet over it then copying it with a marker Make sure you use one with a thin tip Don't use too much colour or the resin takes longer to dry, at least if you use liquid colours ... you also don't need to put the colour into all of the resin. There was this silly video on youtube where this woman tried out how long colours took to dry & i think her problem, especially with the black, was that she used too much, so it was not possible for to cure I only mixed a little into it just before the end & then I filled the rest up with more resin as you can see on the picture it looks like the whole heart is pink There are youtube videos that are telling you how to use the resin, that are very helpful Oh and I almost forgot: don't use regular glue, it will not hold .. i learned that the hard way Best to use a glue gun I hope this will help you to get started. Have fun & Please let me see how it turned out Edited March 2, 2020 by SweetBabygirl74 2
DaddysPrettyPrincess Posted March 3, 2020 Report Posted March 3, 2020 Im sure you can find something on a place like etsy, you could search small kawaii resin or small cute resin, or you could find cute lil decals to put on there if you cant find anything else
