How does everyone make time for "little" you?

I'm struggling with that lately but I desperately want and need it. I'm such a busy person and I'm just trying so hard to find that balance

I'm currently a 24/7 little but when I was working and busy I would set one hour a day to do things that I really loved , even if it was only for 20 minutes or a hour.... Just setting a schedule and time even if its just a little bit of time can help. I also made sure I took time doing the things that made me feel little during that time.

I really love that idea and I think that it is super doable. Even just 20 minutes to paint or color or something..

Maybe combine things?

I know that I enjoy to dance in the shower with a paci in my mouth and some fun music.
And we all need to shower!

Or maybe you have a few minutes to put your onesie on and go clean the house in little style. (Reminds me of spoonful of sugar from mary poppins)

Or if you go to bed, go to bed in your favorite PJ's and snuggle in with your stuffie.

Hope this helps!

Same on being a 24/7 little. I "act" like an adult when I have to at work, but I'm always seeing things through the little perspective and in everyday life :) I take time every weekend to be my authentic little self <3

Typically my Daddy is by my side to make sure that I have a good balance between my adult and little aspects. When I get stressed I sometimes dont take the little time I need but He makes sure to give me lots if cuddles, snuggles and things to bring out and comfort my little aspect.

i've mentioned this a few times now, but i really stand by scheduling or carving out little reminders of your small side during your day.

whether it's using a sweet scented shampoo or body wash in the shower,

drawing yourself a bath with extra bubbles after a long work day,

blasting kids songs or Disney on your commute home,

packing a small stuffed animal in your backpack when you go to class,

or decorating your coffee mug with stickers.

little reminders as we go about our days really help.

Preppin' for Future Little Time

Write a note after you've done whatever the activities are.

Whether you enjoyed it, what you enjoyed, or if you didn't.

Keep them all together somewhere. (Staple them, paperclip, box, plastic sleeve etc.)

Look back on them when you're struggling to think of what to do, like now.

It'll help you remember the feeling and might make you wanna do the activity again.

Idk if you journal, but you could write it in there instead.

For me it's like trying to remember what movies I like, to figure out what I want to watch.

I don't remember until I'm actually looking at a list of them, and go "Oh! That's what I wanna watch/do!"

Btw blowing bubbles around your room and listening to music is a pretty chill and easy way to pass the time.

And you can get bubble bottles from Dollar stores and the party section of supermarkets.

Sometimes I have so many big girl chores to finish throughout the day that by the time I can finally relax and enjoy little space it’s bedtime ☹. On those days I just try to go to bed in my favorite little jammies, a big teddy, and maybe a bottle or special snack, then I fall asleep thinking of my favorite little scenes in my head. It’s not the same as having time and energy to do actual little activities, but it’s something ‍♀

I don't really have set "little" time. I just do my thing. I talk to myself about my happy little thoughts (the whole world is beautiful, how can I be the kindest person today, I love this music, etc). I poke my own cheeks or nose. I try to cheer sad people up or make them smile. When walking places I often daydream or sing quietly to myself or look for interesting things like animals. I bounce in my seat while driving. I sleep with my pillows and blankets and say hello to the sun in the morning and admire the stars and moon at night. A lot of my enjoyment to being little is just present mindfulness, the eternal childlike wonder, the wisdom of knowing my own needs. The ability to laugh at myself is a valuable trait but still feels like my little self laughing.

Maybe it helps that I work at a camp and often get to walk through the woods by myself or set stuff up in the morning/put things away in the afternoon by myself. Skipping down the path and saying hi to the squirrels on my way to the boathouse for example doesn't hurt anyone. And I'm far from the only one working there who gets excited about seeing unusual animals.

Thankfully the one thing I always have is bedtime. I wear cute jammies and cuddle my stuffy and blankie
