Pacifier help

Hi, I currently have the littleforbig small shield— which the length is perfect but I have a really small mouth so it’s too wide. The nuk size 3 (18-36 month) silicone is a better width but too short. Anybody know of something nice in between?

Thankies

Sorry, I should clarifiy I'm trying to find one with a less wide teat than the little for big paci (it's 4cm long by 3cm wide), but longer teat length than a toddler paci. Thank you though!

The teets on adult pacis are sadly that size as a standard - i have never found any that are any narrower.

I have exactly the same paci, and exactly the same problem!  I compensate by sucking on it from the side of my mouth, instead of having it centered.  I don't use it for very long, as it tends to irritate the roof of my mouth a bit.   Maybe try it positioned to the side, and experiment with different ways of sucking.  If all else fails, the thumb is a good alternative!  Love and Hugs! :D

I know! It would be so nice if paci manufactures did more research about adult mouths. Maybe someday!

Oh! I have an idea: maybe try Etsy! I saw that there is a shop that makes custom adult sized pacifiers. Maybe it's only custom decorations, I don't know. But it's worth a try! Most shop owners will work with customers to create things in a custom size.

Sadly everything that I’ve seen on Etsy is just about decorating. I’ve been switching back and forth between my LFB paci and a nuk size 3 silicone (toddler). Let me know if you see any big toddler ones. I really wish I could find a nuk size 4 or something similar but they seem to be completely gone now since it’s been years since they were discontinued :/

What about pacifiersrus.com or adultpacifier.com? They use smaller teats. First has modified baby pacifiers, the other has adult sized shields. I have several pacifiers from those shops with orthodontic size 5, they are perfect and make nice little baby noises when sucked. Teat size 7 is a bit too long for me, it goes too far in my mouth. Silicone is good, it doesn’t taste or smell at all. They are a bit expensive, but worth it.

Yali, I’ve looked at them but their teats only get longer or shorter they’re all the same width as the one I currently have :/

Oh :( They’re the smallest adult pacis I’ve found. Little For Big ones somehow feel bigger in every way, they hit the sides of the inside of my mouth and often start to hurt after an hour or two. Maybe the difference in length makes pacifiersrus and adultpacifier.com pacis sit on the part of my mouth that is wider, not so close to teeth? At least my mouth feels wider in the back. Or maybe the reason to different feeling is that Little For Big pacis can’t be bitten, they don’t let the air out and go flat and they’re harder and thicker feeling silicone. Or maybe the teat shapes just are a bit different... No idea really, maybe I just imagine the difference. I use both kind of pacifiers, it’s nice to have variety. I prefer the looks of Little For Big ones though, because people sell them nicely decorated and their shield is so big that it makes me look like a little baby. I just can’t use them for several hours at a time.

What about pacifiersrus.com or adultpacifier.com?

I got excited when I checked your links, but the modified ones are almost the exact opposite of what I need LOL.

I really like the size and feel of a baby pacifier, but I'd like a bigger shield.

Any suggestions?

Sorry I can't add anything to help the OP.

JayKayBaby on Etsy has a selection of teat sizes for adults. They are for baby bottles, but I think they would work on a paci. There is a long, slender, silicone one which looks like it would be comfy for a smaller mouth! DokiDokiLittlespace has instructions for changing the teat on a paci. There are several other tutorials online for this. I bet this would work!

Ohh! I also found another thread on page 4 of this forum about pacifier help! Just hit the "next" button at the bottom of the littlespace page till you find page 4. Pacifier help is the 4th topic up from the bottom of the page. People have written some replies that look helpful!
