House plants and gardening

This thread is for house plant enthusiasts. Part of what I like about being a DD is the nurturing aspect. Growing plants is another great way for me to get fulfillment taking care of something.

I had a lot of herbs, but went wrong somewhere. Only my mint and chives survived. Trying to start a strawberry plant from seed now.

 

I also have aloe, kalanchoe, ivy, and spider.

All the plants are so beautiful. I wish I was good at raising them but all I'm good at taking care of is a cactus. Dogs are so much easier.

I'm growing cilantro from seeds indoors and today they started sprouting

ohh my cilantro just sprouted too! I did two tiny pots but one is just starting while the other one is all sprouted already, I set them up the same day, late bloomers I guess lol I just set up tomatoes. I am rationing my seeds so I have something to look forward to ;

 

I tried strawberries from seeds once and it didn't work, I found a place that has strawberry plants and they do delivery so might give in and order some.

Oh, how fun! I'm going to repot my plant babies today. They're all in need!

I have a peace lily which grew from a cutting of my grandmother's peace lily.  That's a special one.  And I love my golden pathos.  Slowly building a precious collection. I love having plants around.

Have you guys seen the music people are making with plants? It's amazing!

 

edit  Also got about four basil plants going now from the one I bought in the supermarket a month ago.  I love the smell of basil!
