Chill date or fancy date?

Do you prefer a chill date (watching a movie at home with a blanket and pizza, things like that) or a fancy date (dressing up and going to a fancy posh restaurant for a meal)? Feel free to say your date suggestions too ☺️

I honestly don't have an overall preference so long as it's time with my Wife, Daddy or both of them.

Some times it's fun to get dressed up and go to the National Arts Centre for a Musical and other times a snuggle pile on the couch watching a movie together is our preference.

It depends on how bad my anxiety and mental health are - if they're bad, the only date I'd have is one at home, cos I won't be able to leave the house xD I do like dressing up for a date, I just haven't been able to in ages

I love dressing up as much as I love chilling out in my bed with warm blankets, some cookies and a good book or the couch with a nice movie.

But for a date I like simply things, like: going for a slice of cake or some kind of pastries and tear, or a coffee date. I love movies! So a theater date would do you a lot of brownie points then a fancy restaurant.

If I want something different then I would go for a zoo or museum, going for a fun walk in the nature or exploring little towns or villages not so far away from the city.

I feel like fancy places are for me, are to stiff and require too much behavior control over oneself. I love laughing and I most of the times I speak my mind loud and clear.

And... dunno, but places like that make me sad or nervous, like I'm always doing the wrong thing or I'm not good in that place.

Chill mostly! Though now and then the fancier sort would be really nice. I really enjoy being in more of a one-on-one setting for date type things than in rooms full of other people (even if at other tables).

Chill! there's just something about cuddling together and watching a movie under a nice cozy blanket that nothing could ever replace for me.

I must say, i do love a nice wine and dine on occasion, some good italian food and maybe a little trip...but any sort of date wins me over because just knowing that they want to be with me somewhere (bowling, chinese food, movie night etc) makes me really happy. Even a nice home cooked meal, or ordering pizza, nothing beats the ultimate comfort :D

I'm a snuggle bunny so it's always nice to be somewhere cuddles are ok and the best place for that is home!

But it's nice to go out some evenings too. I prefer day dates! somewhere interesting for a day trip, or a nice cafe, or bowling etc.

Also ... nothing wrong with getting all dressed up just to stay home sometimes! (And some dressing up is better kept at home LOL)

I like fancy dates outside like a picnic in the evening with sunset to watch while eating together.

Not really dated in a good while, tbh; But, my favourite ones were always just going for a nice walk somewhere where you can just talk, bonus points if there is a nice garden somewhere near to walk through, or chilling all snuggled up watching a movie with a nice hot chocolate or something and maybe (generally) some snacks

Im another person who is generally for more chill dates most of the time, but dressing up and doing something nice is great too, just not too often :)

I don't really date, but I'll chime in to say I prefer chill dates. My logic is if most of our time is going to be spent being comfortable around each other I want to start off dating that way. Nothing to really distract from getting to know the person I'm intending on being with.

Now, if attending musicals and operas then sitting down in a fancy restaurant is their type of enjoyment I am okay with that too. I'm happy either way as long as my date isn't faking the desire (for a fancy night out) to impress me knowing they don't plan to keep it up once we're really together.

(Edited because I talk too dang much)

I love chill dates.

Nothing better than ordering some take out or a home cooked meal. Then snuggle up on the couch in our comfy clothes watching a movie, and A fuzzy blanket to keep us warm.

Mostly chill dates but occasionally we’ll do something fancy..

Daddy and I tried a fancy date, it’s lucky it was him with me and not my ex.. I nearly had a meltdown because of the noise.. I kicked my chair and chewed a lot, got distracted so we chatted about the decor (super awesome fireplace!!) and stuff.. He cut the entrée food up because he knew it’d jump off my plate if I tried, lol.. Then when my mains arrived we giggled all the way through it because it looked like there was snot and boogers on my chicken!! I ate it though and we left after that.. Got biskies on the way back to my flat and had those for dessert..

We go to McDonald’s a lot because it’s near where I get a flat when we have time together.. LDRs really suck but I’m waiting for him to get divorced before I can make a home with him..

I haven't really had any dates, but I think I'd like chill stuff more. Cuddle dates sound nice, and we could listen to our favorite music and talk about it. I'd also like going to the zoo or the aquarium or a museum or a historic landmark or a park. A picnic with our own homemade food is nicer than a restaurant. I guess going to a ballet or opera would be pretty cool though, but only if we both like it. And maybe going to a concert together if we love the same bands.

I kinda like both! But I prefer to do more exciting things like car rides! Taking your truck out into the middle of a field and just stay up all night in the trunk looking at the stars and talking! Going to an arcade or amusement park! Maybe even going to the zoo or going for a hike up to a castle! Going somewhere random and just unplanned! I never really went out and did a fancy dinner but I have always wanted to do that at least once!

However there is no harm in staying home and enjoying a good movie! As long as I get to spend time with someone and we can create new and fun memories then I am down for whatever!
