Lizzzy Posted January 7, 2020 Report Posted January 7, 2020 (edited) Has anybody else seen the movie Unicorn Store on Netflix? I've watched it maybe 10 times over the past couple of months and it's one of my favorite movies, in or out of little space! I relate and I feel like a lot of other littles can relate to the main character Kit. She tries so hard to be a 'good adult' but she can't help being childish and sparkly and covered in rainbows and everything I want to be all of the time! It's not perfect or the best for sure but it's fun for me to watch! Edited January 7, 2020 by lizzzylittle
Sean Posted January 7, 2020 Report Posted January 7, 2020 No, I haven't seen that one, but there are a number of other movies I like to watch that make me feel the same way, and the bulk of them came out in the same year; 2016 (what was it about that year?) The Young Messiah, about Jesus when he was 7 years old; Disney's The Jungle Book; and Disney's Pete's Dragon. I enjoy watching these movies mostly because of the boys playing these parts, and I'm happy for them that they get to be in these movies, but I'm also jealous of them because they are still kids! The only thing adult about me is my looks! I long so much to be a small boy again! I wish someone would discover something like an anti-hormone that would regenerate the body as far back as you would want it to, and to remain that way for as long as you want! Puberty ruins everything! As a teenager, I was still a child inside, but inundated with all those pesky hormones that made--forced me to think, feel, and do a bunch of stupid things I wouldn't have normally done before. Sorry, I digress from that, but another movie I like to watch is 2014's Hercules, with Issac Andrews playing a young adorable boy named Arius.
princess cotton grass Posted January 7, 2020 Report Posted January 7, 2020 i feel kinda mean for saying this but i don't think it's a very good film. the main character is pretty unlikable and refuses to take responsibility for anything. also the ending is so unsatisfying. i never saw the little aspect of it though, it's an interesting point.
Lizzzy Posted January 7, 2020 Author Report Posted January 7, 2020 No that's not mean everyone has their own opinion! I can totally see that, she is a bit selfish and that's valid. Idk it's just something about the movie that makes me feel good ya know? Also I just reallllly like Brie Larson so that probably has a lot to do with it. 1
