Toys for tomboys

Hello,

I've been searching for toys to have for a little one that I'm getting to know as a caregiver. What is your favorite tomboy toys? Any I should stay away from getting?

Any ideas and suggestions is greatly appreciated.

Little age and interests definetly play a big part in finding the right toys too! What kind of toys does this little already enjoy? the building kind, crafting, dress up, puzzles, action figures? What toys best fit with their little age and what are they interested in? super hero's? SpongeBob? paw patrol?  I definetly consider myself a tomboy little and some of my favorite things are legos, building blocks, animal/dinosaur figures, Marvel anything, hot wheels, train tracks... slime and kinetic sand are definetly favorites and pretty trendy right now. Even thou I'm a tomboy thou, I still like some stereotypical girly things and I dont gag at the color pink - I even like playing with barbies sometimes. Dont get to caught up on the tomboy thing and focus more on what the individual would like/appreciate :)

I grew up as a tomboy and my favorites included LEGO, Playmobil, Rescue Heroes (if those even still exist today), Hot Wheels/Matchbox, I loved Batman as a kid too. Hopefully this helps!

everything about this dynamic boils down to personalization.

this answer will vary, and the only one with the actual key to your success is your little.

good luck!

Thank you jellybean.

We're you able to read what kind of girls that I'm a caregiver over? They are abused, mentally, emotionally and physically.

Sometimes it's hard to get answers, especially if they are protecting their own little self.

I try to make care packages to send to them, when they get the gift, they'll be surprised.

Thank you for understanding my situation.

yup!

i did read that, and i'm in a very similar situation myself.

however, and this may seem harsh,

they still need to be able to communicate with you to be effective in a relationship.

find ways that work best for them if verbal isn't an option.

learn the things they enjoy by observation.

ask them to make an amazon wishlist so you can browse the type of things they are interested in.

check out their tumblr page.

have them write you (or santa) a letter around Christmas time.

there are a lot of other ways to get their input if words fail.
