jelloprincess Posted November 30, 2019 Report Posted November 30, 2019 Recently I've noticed more (seemingly) vanilla couples using the title Daddy, and this seems to be seen as fairly normal. Has anyone else seen this? What do you think of it?
SmolAetherr Posted November 30, 2019 Report Posted November 30, 2019 its a common thing, and to be frank i dont care, like at all. i wouldnt be likely to judge a paeron much like i wouldnt like to be judged, it works for them just like what i do works for me
Guest LittleBunBun84 Posted November 30, 2019 Report Posted November 30, 2019 I've noticed this, yes. It seems to be a trend among younger, seemingly vanilla couples, to refer to their partner as Daddy. But that's what I think it is - a trend. I'd be interested to know how/why it started.
Guest Aastyra Posted November 30, 2019 Report Posted November 30, 2019 Yeah, I've noticed this too. The other day I heard the most vanilla girl describe someone as a "total Daddy," but what I think she was actually commenting on was his mature look: he had this salt & pepper hair/beard thing going on. I don't really care, personally, but I'm curious as to how many of these people realize that the word has a ton of kinky connotations. If they don't know, then they might be projecting an image of themselves that they don't intend to. 1
Guest Kay_Boy Posted November 30, 2019 Report Posted November 30, 2019 I don’t follow social media enough to notice it, but maybe it is a trend that was picked up somewhere, or maybe it’s more to do with similar traits between someone’s partner, and a daddy. In example, maybe their partner is protective and nurturing.
LittleGirlEmilia Posted November 30, 2019 Report Posted November 30, 2019 Housewives used to refer to their husband as "daddy" as he was the provider. Maybe as a sign of respect but mostly a pet name. A little bit different than the "daddy as f*ck" stuff we have today, but it's not a new thing for vanillas to do. 1
