Sneaky ways for a little lifestyle

Hey everyone, the title may be a bit confusing but what i mean is bringing "little"" stuff into everyday life. So even when im expected to be a big adult i still have ways to feel little and safe.

I often see post/messages of people saying they have problems slipping into little space/feeling little. Maybe doing stuff like this will help with that.

I have some ways to always feel a little bit "little" without exposing anyone to kink.

For example I like to constantly have cute things around me like cute plushie bakpacks or litle stuffie keychains.

Thermos bottles with cute babyish desings.

Showering with baby shampoo and using baby lotion. The scent will last throughout the day.

. Wearing a onesie under my shirt or in some cases wearing a onesie as if it is a shirt so with pants over it ofc (with discrete onesie designs)

Oversized soft hoodies and sweatshirts, or even wearing daddy's hoodie.

Can you relate to this?

Do you have discrete ways to feel little in public?

If yes, then what are they?

Well, my way isn't as sneaky hehe. I just introduce myself as hyper and childish and people accept that. Its literally just another way of saying my little while not flat out saying it. Its kinda ironic that I can say I'm "childish" and it be fine but if cgl pops up in convo people make snide comments. I also carry around cute thingsand dress in cute stuff sometimes so people are pretty much not going to notice. So I guess it's somewhat sneaky yet so obvious?

I relate to this! I do the same thing with having things around with me that are cutesy, even my journals that I pull out in public are decorated with cutesy stickers or have cute things drawn in them, etc. My purse & backback both have a little stuffie keychain on them too, which I find super handy when I am alone & don't have my safe person around...I just hold onto that or pet it a bit and it helps me out.

A few times I have gone out with a onesie under a hoodie & pants, but I don't do it often unless I know I won't be needing to take the hoodie off. lol And I also have one of my bfs hoodies that I wear out that is super huge on me, and it makes me feel so cozy & little. I typically wear it when we go do outdoorsy things with his friends, they are all rough & tough and I sometimes get nervous around them (even though they are all really nice to me always), so the hoodie helps me feel more at home & safe.

I used to have a few cutesy/kids songs or cartoon theme songs on my phone too and I'd listen to them sometimes while out doing errands with my heapdhones. lol

Ahhh yes it also comforts me to listen to kids songs, themesongs and other cutesy music through my headphones while in public. :3

Y'know, what I'm seeing here in this thread is everyone listing things they genuinely like to have with them, wear, and do, that might be considered "childish" to an outside observer.  Your inner little is, well, a part of you, so liking that sort of stuff totally independent of any kink context makes perfect sense. Honestly, being a little is such a big (haaaah, sorry, pun not intended) part of who I am that of course it extends to ordinary things that I happen to like.  And incorporating that into my daily life feels like I'm being genuine....the total opposite of sneaky.

I see all the stuff everybody listed and I'm over here thinking "Yes! Own it!" As long as you're not exposing unwilling parties to, you know, actual kink stuff? You do you. It's nobody's business what you like, at the end of the day, and if folks give you a hard time for it, there's always something you can say to embarrass them for questioning you.

I have a collection of cat hoodies with ears and all, that I wear super often because a ) they're warm and b )  literally nobody cares because I work in a biology lab.  You don't like my cat sweaters? You're boring, because come on who doesn't want animal ears. You secretly do. I know you do.

Hair in pigtails or braids? Keeps it out of the Bunsen burner.

Frilly, cutesy dresses for special occasions?  Been all about that since I was born, man.  Old habits die hard.

My lab notebooks all have cute covers (my current one has rainbows and glitter!).  Why? The ones the university supplies us are the school colours (grey and burgundy) and that hurts my soul to look at every day.

Using baby shampoo / body wash in the shower? I have really sensitive skin. You look at me sideways and I get hives.  Lay off.

Hyperactive / cheerful / childish attitude? It's just how I am, deal with it.

I think my (over?)confidence in that regard is either intimidating, or already answers any questions people may have, because I've literally never experienced a negative reaction from people for any of the above (i.e. "ArEN't U ToO OlD foR THaT!?!", "ThAT loOks DuMB", or "ThAT's for BABieS!!!") Probably because people would know I'd smack them if they opened their mouth.

So, since I have an excess of them....I'm sending extra confidence vibes over to every little who reads this!  Life's too short to not wear those giant sweaters and hang piles of jangly keychains off your backpack.

Cute knee high socks, coloring in public, cat ear headphones, silly t-shirts, my hair in pigtails, my favorite backpack plastered with pins and patches...and my stuffies in my backpack where I can look and touch them as needed.

I guess I'm not super discrete...

Mostly people just really really like my backpack.

I totally agree with the baby shampoo, talcum powder and there are even some deodorants that smell like baby powder. ^-^

Sorry if some of these are repeats, I don't have the attention span to read through all the comments.

 I have cutesy keychains. Put them on your keys or wallet/purse.

 A cute phone cover (it's rare i have my phone out in front of strangers).

 I have a Shopkins pretend credit card in my purse & toy mobile phone.

 You can keep little toys in your purse/handbag/bag.

 Wearing onesies under your clothing. Just be ready for the struggle when you gotta whizz lol.

 Sneaking candy as snacks, if you like sweet stuff.

 Wearing oversized hoodies and sweaters.

 Cute beanies, hats, gloves, scarves.

 Iron on patches. I have some on my denim overalls.

 Wearing cute socks.

 Kicking your feet under the table when nobody's looking.

 Hair accessories. Bow clips, headbands and so on.

:heart: Wearing chokers or short necklaces as a collar substitute (;

 Stickers on everything! Drink bottles, shoes, notebooks, phone case, inside your purse/wallet.

 Kids bandaids for booboos.

 Watching your favourite Little shows on your phone with earbuds when you're out.

 Ordering from the kids menu if you're getting takeout or delivery.

 Keeping a small plushy in your bag.

 Cute backpacks. I have one with a bunny face as the front pouch. ^^

 Packing your lunch in bento boxes or sectioned containers (substitute for sectioned plates).

 Small plushies or toys kept in your car.

 Fun phone screensavers.

 Fun shoesies. I have purple steel capped boots : D

 Wearin' kids jewellery. Like the elastic bracelets and such.

Obviously all of those things done at the same time aren't subtle lol

But mixing and matching is ^-^

I carry my littleness in my heart though.

You spoke for me here!

I'm 53, always been little before I even knew what "little" was. And always felt comfortable to use, wear, enjoy the things I like. Everyone  accepts that it's part of my personality; most people enjoy it actually. I'm very comfortable with my adult self too, so my behaviour is appropriately adult - but with a childlike enthusiasm, sense of wonder etc. That's reflected in all my clothing, accessories etc.

OTOH I get the bit about "sneaky" and I interpret the OP was saying it like a tongue in cheek way ;)  :p  Because although everyone sees me with the stickers, hair in bunches etc., NOBODY in my general group (or in public) knows that it represents anything more than "stuff I like". So yes, I'm doing it in open view, but keeping it "hidden".

love wearing bright colours, so I always have some brightly coloured (whether neon or not) socks on.

There’s even a company that sell purposely-odd socks (SFW Link):

https://unitedoddsocks.com/

They make me feel so good about myself!

I work in healthcare so I can get away with all of this because it just makes me look "fun". The stickers on my nametag, the fun hair, the colorful cartoon scrubs, the glittery pink EVERYTHING and I act like a big kid. I draw smiley faces on bandaids, etc.. I work with the elderly and they see the same 4 walls all day and night, the same sterile looking nurses come in and out and then theres me - It seems to make them happier and I get to be myself too! theres so many ways to be Little without being like "HEY!! LOOK AT ME!!!" and exposing non consenting parties to it. You just come off as Fun or Quirky.
