Daddys little Baby_Bear Posted November 28, 2019 Report Posted November 28, 2019 I'm just curious if anyone is looking forward to thanksgiving or not? I'm personally not looking forward to thanksgiving as I don't get along with certain family members, however I am looking forward to "second thanksgiving" which we are doing with friends who will be gone/working during normal thanksgiving What about you?
Pupmomo Posted November 28, 2019 Report Posted November 28, 2019 I'm looking forward to it. This will be my first Thanksgiving with my partners. My Daddy has also decided to come to my family get togethers, so I'll be eating a lot over the next few days. 1

DragonAllFather Posted November 28, 2019 Report Posted November 28, 2019 We don't celebrate it in Spain so no Although they are trying to make it a commercial ocassion by introducing special sweets and other food, but nobody really celebrates it here.
Guest You&me Posted November 28, 2019 Report Posted November 28, 2019 The best family time ever. We all catch-up and share, encourage and enjoy family bonding.
LittleTeacup Posted November 29, 2019 Report Posted November 29, 2019 I like it because I can visit my grandma and uncle and young cousins! My family doesn't make it into a huge event - we just go to grandma's, help her finish making the food and set the table, eat, have dessert, and chat for a couple hours until it's time to go home. Us adults also prep for our Christmas "secret santa" thing by writing three ideas on a paper and drawing someone's name from a basket. That way we each only have to buy one thing and we know we'll receive something we want, but it's still a surprise who picked our name. There's also grandma's really fluffy dog to pet!
