Daddyformyprincess Posted September 20, 2015 Report Posted September 20, 2015 My girl love fall and especially Halloween. Yesterday I bought a Halloween story book for her. She was so excited. Her smile made my day.I guess sometimes the small things are the best gifts.
Guest MyDaddyMyWorld Posted September 20, 2015 Report Posted September 20, 2015 Thats true. So many think its all about big, grand gestures. Its not. Its about little things. I send my daddy cards through the post. Last time I was at his house I wrote a simple note on a piece of paper, drew a heart around it and put it on his fridge. I cleaned his kitchen, then his bathroom. It goes both ways. Daddy's do not have to spend a fortune on us. A gift to me from my daddy is seeing him fix my bike lights, a surprise visit, a coffee and piece of cake from starbucks cos he knows I love it there. Stuff like that. 1
Daddyformyprincess Posted September 20, 2015 Author Report Posted September 20, 2015 Exactly. I love her little notes and things she does for me so much more anything she could buy.
daddyhugs Posted September 20, 2015 Report Posted September 20, 2015 The moments created by such heartfelt yet simple gifts are worth so much more than even the grandest gift!
Guest Lilkittygirl Posted September 20, 2015 Report Posted September 20, 2015 I want a daddy who does sweet things like that 1

Guest MyDaddyMyWorld Posted September 21, 2015 Report Posted September 21, 2015 I actually struggle with daddy spending real money on me. He earns a good wage, whereas I am raising kids and only work part time. I have always supported myself, even when I was married (he never worked and basically just spent any money he could get hold of for his drinking, weed, smoking and gambling addictions- ah what a catch, right?) So even more so than when I've been single, I've had to take full responsibility for money and trying to be independent. But daddy sometimes insists. He absolutely loves that I do not want him for his money. And that kind of wants him to take care of me that way even more. I've accepted that about him (with great struggle) and truly appreciate it, it's wonderful, but it's the other stuff that I actually need.
Daddyformyprincess Posted September 21, 2015 Author Report Posted September 21, 2015 Your a good girl Myworld. As a daddy I know that the feeling that it's my responsibility to provide for my girl and it sounds like he feels that he needs to do that for you. It's not that you can't provide for your self and your kids, but it's part of bring a daddy to do so. I know I love to see my baby enjoying the gifts I give her, big or small.
Guest MyDaddyMyWorld Posted September 21, 2015 Report Posted September 21, 2015 Thank you. I just love my daddy so much and being his good girl is my purpose in life. 1
