LED Battery operated fairy-lights (or variants)

Part decorations, like foldable lanterns or paper balls. Things that can either be folded up easily or recycled.

A lil bottle of bubbles.

Some cool socks you like wearing when Little. You could fold them into your adult socks to hide them.

Small snack bags.

Download some Little shows or movies onto a device to watch in your fort.

If you have kids' pillow cases you like using, you could bring those to put on the hotel pillows for in your fort. Just put them over the hotel ones.

Pack a stuffie in your suitcase! Nobody has to see it.

 

Play little music on your phone or laptop.

 

Wear little pjs.

 

Also, outside of the hotel room, since you'll be in San Diego, could you maybe visit the zoo during down time?

If you're looking for ideas for your next vacation, I'd suggest thinking about what kind of experience you're looking for. Are you seeking adventure and excitement, or relaxation and rejuvenation? Do you want to explore a new culture, or immerse yourself in nature? Once you have a better idea of what you're after, it'll be easier to narrow down your options.

As for my own best vacation ever, it's honestly tough to choose just one! I've had some incredible trips, from exploring the beaches and rainforests of Costa Rica, to road-tripping through the stunning landscapes of New Zealand, to soaking up the history and culture of Japan. But one trip that stands out in my mind was a backpacking adventure through the mountains of Colorado. 

There's just something magical about being out in nature, surrounded by breathtaking scenery and challenging yourself to push your limits.
