The sudden Harry Potter commercial interrupting your YouTube viewing would usually annoy you --

 

BUT YOU ARE SUDDENLY INSPIRED! 

 

You bolt upright in your chair, looking at the errant clips of the Harry Potter movie, ignoring the insipid announcer's voice. 

 

Rats. Owls. Cats.

 

Wizards and Witches, working miracles and casting ancient arcane spells.... capable of so much that is astounding...

 

And yet...

They had the wisdom to know that a balance must be kept.

Even the extremely knowledgeable need assistance. Access to a fresh and feral perspective.

An ally. One of keen senses. 

A friend, who, clear of head even whilst you fly to the heights of one's utmost brilliant scientific discoveries, can tap you on the shoulder with paw or claw and howl, "Hey! Did you remember to source your Sodium Polyacrylate ethically???"

I start with a black panther twice the size of a normal one, and give him three heads. 

 

The right head has normal eyes, the middle head (frontmost) has eight eyes like a spider, and the left head has two normal eyes and then a third eye centered above them. Both left and right heads have long, sabertooth like fangs.

 

He has black wings like a raven, and a black and gold scorpion tail.

 

He has no elemental affinities, but has a resistance to fire and electricity.

His sharpest sense is his sight.

He's trilingual. 

 

Basically a frequently-exasperated badass who loves cuddles.
His name is 'Waffles'. n_n

pookie is a dark brown demon rat with dark feathered wings.

they have spines that go from their head to their tail and red eyes.

he can speak telepathically and out loud but only in two languages (english and demonic).

he can do a lot of tricks, run straight up walls and even dance hehe.

he loves head scritches and sunflower seeds!!

 

 

 

(this is actually my familiar i use in dnd, but there he doesnt have wings cus my dm said no D:)
