I see lots of people comment to research our lifestyle. HOW does one do that?? Do much of what I find is garbage. Are there any good articles out there??

Probably the most common way is just reading different forums and posts by others in the lifestyle to learn of their beliefs, opinions, and what the lifestyle looks like for them. Just reading through all the posts here and the common questions that are asked will give a ton of information. There are some good articles out there too. Littlespace Online has a series of information articles on the lifestyle, and that's a good place to figure out the common terms, roles, and questions.

Just remember that not all information will apply to you. It's okay to pick and choose different aspects to create your own CGL lifestyle. We all live it a little differently. A lot of what you find will likely be generalities. I think we generally have to figure out the specifics of what our lifestyle will look like ourselves.

When I recommend that someone does their research, what I mean is exactly what it seems you have been doing. Read everything you can get your hands on, watch videos, and probably most importantly, talk to others with experience in the lifestyle. You will find conflicting information, just as you would any subject, and you'll have to extrapolate for yourself what feels right to you. The importance of research is so that you don't walk into something blind. It's to protect yourself, as much as it is to learn about yourself and what you need and want out of DDlg.
