Writing/Creating Storylines in ddlg/bdsm? Is this a thing?

Sorry if the title was confusing, I'll cut to the chase.

 

So my CG/Dom and I are both LARPers, and really enjoy fantasy and RP, so naturally we were thinking of bringing this into our CG/L dynamic as well. Like actually writing out backstories and making our little ddlg/bdsm personas into actual characters, and playing out a longer running story/fantasy type thing.

 

I'm just curious, is this something people normally do?

 

I know many people live out ddlg and other rp type stuff as a lifestyle, but when looking around online I never could find much about people's actual stories.. So I'm kinda curious and confused at the same time. Little help/advice here?

I believe that's basically what RP in BDSM for scenes is. 

 

Going over the basic storyline, your hard limits, what you both consent to (or don't) and who will be playing which role. Not that everyone does that, but I know that people do. Some people just let it flow authentically as it comes if it's not going to be too intense. 

 

But it's totally a thing people do. You just might not see much evidence online about it because it's a kinda private thing for a lot of people and not something everyone wants to openly share with the internet. There are plenty of Wattpad stories out there though, so it's possible those are secretly from peoples' RP scenes ;D 

 

How in-depth people want to be with their RP scenes is totally up to the individual. ^-^ So if you and your CG want to really go for it, then do! Maybe it will be something new you'll both really enjoy and create together.
