Need DDLG LDR Advice :( <3

Hello Everyone! I'm in need of some big advice, from littles and biggies.

Me and my daddy have a LDR, he lives in Europe and I live in America. We met for the first time, but now I have to leave and it's killing me. Things were perfect before we met, and things feel even stronger now that we have met. The only sucky thing is now I know what I'm missing.... I feel like the lonely nights are going to feel even lonelier now.. Either way, I have to leave tomorrow and I know I'm going to feel so broken for a couple days.

However, I'm typing this forum to see if any fellow Daddy's and Littles are going through the same things, and what are some things that you do to make the distance feel less intense? We have rules and punishments, we do movie nights and fall asleep on the phone/facetime together... But I'm curious to see what other people do to close the gap from so far away!

If anything, just knowing other people are going through the same thing helps a bunch too <3

Thanks,

Little Marie

Daddy and I have a 7 hour time difference. One thing that helps is that he works nights every other week, so our schedules align better those weeks. One thing we do is try to keep to a routine during the week, this helps us feel connected. Another thing we do is "bedtime" songs. Every night before he goes to bed he picks out a song for me to listen to as I'm curled up ready to sleep. We also both love reading, so we chose a book to read "together". These give us things to talk to, as well as a sense of doing things together that keep us connected. LDR is hard, and LDR DDlg even more so. But communication and dedication to making it work go a long way.

Good luck!!
