napping

Hey, Daddy here. sorry for the invasion. I come in peace. recently I've been napping a bit more. but today I really need one but can't seem to get down for it. you littles are masters of naps so I was wondering if you had secrets you might want to share with this Big. 

 

I promise I won't tell the other adults if you don't want me to!

if it doesn't cringe you out, then asmr is super helpful. i also just put on some boring background talking, often in another language. dunno why it works but it does.

I read and then I imagine visual imagery before I fall asleep. And also, one dog sleeps behind my knees and the other dog sleeps in front of me. So they make a me sandwich for nap time.

I dont think my secret will really work for a Daddy to be honest. My secret is having my Daddy spoon me from behind and groom my hair with his tongue, instant nap time.

 

Alternatively, fire meditation can really help calm the mind and create a better mental state for sleeping.

I often listen to lullabies or meditations and that makes me sleep really easily

I always imagine something that I want to happen to me! Sorta like getting your mind in a happy place hehe!

 

Also I listen to Let’s Plays in the background and that all helps me fall asleep!

I curl up with my stuffies and paci. I don't think that's really helpful for you either, and I put on lullabies.

Is it your body or mind that's restless?

 

White noise in the background can help (tumble drier, or use an app, or sometimes even the radio on too low to actually distinguish words)

 

Sometimes taking myself through a visualisation of relaxing from my toes to top of my head can help. There's lots of them available online if you want someone to talk through you it. 

 

But I'm rubbish at getting enough rest/naps during the day. And the more tired I am, the harder it is! It's something I need to ask Daddy to help me with. And it's even worse because he works shifts including nights, so I wake up at odd hours to make sure we can chat or just to leave him cheerful msgs.

When I really cant nap I make a cup of tea with alot if milk, the take a hot and cozy shower. If I'm still struggling I litsen to lore or mythology in the background but not to loud:>

Well me personally I recommend sugar scrubs and lavender with eucalyptus ~ helps very much and if u dont have that try sleepy time tea with honey and sugar its a knock out for sure~ 

or i just watch random movies to put me to bed till i get bored me i have alittle bit of insomnia .... so what helps knock me out is remoron its a pill thats works insanely well u will wake up great the next time XD

You can try listening to a white noise app (can be set to lots of different sounds. i like train sounds)!

 

If you like lights when you sleeps, you can try getting some pretty fairy lights that have a dim glow to make you feel comfy n nice c: I have a whole wall of voice controlled fairy lights.

 

If your body is restless, try tensing all your muscle groups for 10 sedonds, one at a time, from toe to head (toes, feet, calves, thighs, torso, hands, arms, face).
