School has been stressful lately and I lost my way of going into little space

Does anyone have any tips on regressing?

I was having problems with stress, too, so that's kind of why I signed up here. I go into chat and there always seems to be someone in a little mindset, so then I can finally relax there. But also, it helps to talk to my CG and let him know I need extra pampering.

:( Ack, I'm sorry. That's awful. Do you have any safe spaces that feel good to go to? Because that's my next suggestion--physically go to a place where you feel calm and okay in. Listen to music there. Breathe slowly and pay attention to your breath. Bring coloring books and color if you like that.

 

The important thing is to absorb yourself in stuff that has made you both feel good, safe, and less stressed in the past.

 

When things are really bad for me, I watch horror movies or stand up comedians. It's my go to.

 

The other thing that can help to push stress away is to have a good cry.

 

And if that fails, chocolate. Ok, really, chocolate with all those things.

 

I really hope things get better for you soon.

There are coloring book apps that are free. I know it's not the same, but it's something.
