Liltree Posted September 17, 2019 Report Posted September 17, 2019 Is it weird I feel completely anxious if I'm apart from my stuffies? I definitely can't bring them to class or work so that's the majority of my day without them. I get very nervous and jumpy without them near me. Is that wrong? What should I do to fix it?
Alaskan Daddy Posted September 17, 2019 Report Posted September 17, 2019 Have you thought of bringing a small one you can put in your purse or backpack. And NO it is not wrong. Also what do you thing of just having a picture of them on your phone that you can look at during the day. I hope this helps 1
Bally Posted September 17, 2019 Report Posted September 17, 2019 Thats normal I tent to feel anxious if I dont have my paci (which is currently lost ;( ) or I cant suck my thumb.
Bally Posted September 17, 2019 Report Posted September 17, 2019 Also as for solving it try and get a wmall one like one of those small beanie babies to hold under the desk or get a squishy toy 3
Lil_Kiddo Posted September 18, 2019 Report Posted September 18, 2019 I've carried one of my stuffies around campus for a while and other than a few glances and a couple "that's a cute dog" nobody really cared. As long as you aren't hauling a 7 foot teddy bear around, nobody really minds if you're carrying a toy.
babykitten3334 Posted September 18, 2019 Report Posted September 18, 2019 for school, i put a smaller stuffie in my backpack along with crayons and some paper to color on. put a stuffie in your backpack for school. For work, if oyu have a pocket sized stuffie, wear a coat with deep pockets or just anything with deep pockets that arent too obvious, and put a small stuffie in those pockets. If these ideas still don't seem to work, throughout the day, think of what fun things you will o with your stuffies once you get home. like a teaparty, or watch a movie, and then get really really exited about it. look forward to it!! i have the same problem too, so i def get your situation. best of luck to you!!
jelloprincess Posted September 18, 2019 Report Posted September 18, 2019 You could get a little keychain stuffie and clip it to your purse, backpack, laptop bag, etc. If you have a jacket or something you could put a tiny stuffie like a beanie baby or a tsum tsum in your pocket. You could also get a "functional" stuffie, like a pencil case stuffed animal.
MylovesPrincess Posted September 18, 2019 Report Posted September 18, 2019 I have a finger puppet bunny and I can sneak it anywhere. ;-)
so_soft Posted September 19, 2019 Report Posted September 19, 2019 (edited) A lot of people, even those who are not little, can feel this way without, for example, their favorite ring, pendant or anything else! This is not wrong or weird and I really understand you, because I have the same "problem" (if you can even call it a problem ), so I bought for myself a little pink hamster (the one you can see below) and it really helped me and he helps a lot! You can also try this or just carry your fav plushie in your bag with you. Edited September 19, 2019 by so_soft
Guest LittleSnowiii Posted September 20, 2019 Report Posted September 20, 2019 Why not getting a smaller stuffie as a keychain? They exist you know? ^^ If not, like others said, put some in your purse. Also not sure if it works, but taking pics of them ?
Guest ~GlitterUnicorn~ Posted September 21, 2019 Report Posted September 21, 2019 Nothing wrong with taking them with you! I do! But if you don't feel comfortable with that you could take a small one with you
