Introducing DDLG to a Partner

Hiya! I’m a little in a relationship with my Daddy for a year and a half. We live together and he knows that I am very little. However, he has only ever had very Vanilla dating experiences. He is very open to DDLG and has been very kind and supportive in me being a little. I have told him lots of things I would enjoy including having a paci, spankies, etc. One thing I really really wish is that he actually got into the role whereas right now he is trying but doesn’t know where to begin. He’s gotten much more comfortable with spankies but he very rarely tells me I’m a good girl or refer to himself as daddy. I think he still feels unsure about it and that he doesn’t want to be embarrassed. I don’t know how to make him feel more confident but I wish he would just go for it. How do I address this? What have you done to introduce a partner to DDLG? How were you introduced? Helpppp!

When I started as a Daddy, there were some aspects that I was falling short in, and it helped me to have them written down like rules, by hand on paper, and focus on a few at a time, or even just one. In my case it was not so much that I was uncomfortable with them, but rather that I was not doing them enough. After a while they became good habits.
