Ebony Fruit Bat Posted September 12, 2019 Report Posted September 12, 2019 When you know you shouldn't and do it any way. Watched spooky videos and movies the day before. Now it's 4 am and I'm hiding under my blanket to avoid seeing shadow people or any thing that can go bump in the night. Why do I make bad choices?!? I also ate peach cobbler for dinner and now I'm hungry, but too afraid to get out of my blanket. Little regrets 1
Lollipox Posted September 12, 2019 Report Posted September 12, 2019 (edited) Lmao now I know why you msg’d at a Bananas O’clock! What did you watch? I hope you’ve gone back to sleep now. Next time watch some Disney or cartoons before bed. Or some storybook audiobooks on youtube that are 10mins or less, so your phone or whatever won’t keep playing after you nod off. BabyMattDiapers Posted September 12, 2019 Report Posted September 12, 2019 Oh wows sorry you had such a bad night! I have some scary movies and shows on my list to watch on Netflix, but when it gets dark outside, I'm too scared to watch them, even with my bear to help me, so I watch something like the Office or the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air until I go to sleepy byes. I won't watch anything scary, even with the lights out and all dark outside, unless I have a big caregiver person with me to hold me when I get scared and help me calm back down. I hope this helps you little one with getting out of your scaredness. 1

I'll do better not loading up on scary stuff. Sorry for the crazy early message. lol I was pretty terrified at the time. All curled up cause I was afraid if my feet went out the blanket something would get my toes. Thank you for the message!

I'll stick to those types of things at night. Busy Town and Bearenstain Bears too. Thank Chu!
LittleTeacup Posted September 13, 2019 Report Posted September 13, 2019 (edited) I don't like watching scary things ever! They're scary!!!! Even normal movies or shows when people yell and scream scare me... like my brain can't tell it's not a threat. Edit: But, if something does scare me or upset me at nighttime, I can always listen to some songs by my favorite bands, especially the quieter ones, and the singer's voice will relax me. Listening to that stuff never fails to bring me back to a state of peace. Edited September 14, 2019 by LittleTeacup
Guest LilAliceLostinWonderland Posted September 13, 2019 Report Posted September 13, 2019 When I watch something scary at night, I can't go to sleep because all the little sounds scare me. I put on Blue's Clues, cuddle my puppy, and sing along until I'm not scared anymore.
