Halloween is the best!     But it's true that I'm only okay with some scary things...it can't be *too* scary, or if it is, I at least can't watch it alone...I mean, sometimes, even if I don't watch the really scary stuff alone, it'll still keep me up forever. xP 

But candy and costumes and apple cider and pretty leaves and gothic aesthetics and fashion and Edgar Allen Poe and going for brisk autumn walks and then staying warm can be so much fun! I try to at least make sure to watch 'The Great Pumpkin', and I've been trying to find a copy of 'The Pumpkin Who Couldn't Smile' from way back when, because I remember liking that a lot.

While staying in and watching It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown sounds amazing, I absolutely love all things horror and gore! Plus decorating is so fun! You can make your own decorations or look for some scary ones or make alterations to ones you already have to make them spookier! Halloween is my all time favourite! Absolutely love all the spooky things and costumes and movies. Everything!

I don't like scary movies. It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown is my ideal Halloween movie.

 

But I also like to hang out near the front door and hand out candy to kids. I like seeing their costumes.

 

A costume I'd like to make is a leaf pile! With felt leaves so they're not crunchy. Or a cute bat and flap my wings around!

 

I used to be really scared of skulls but I've warmed up to them in recent years. I also like ravens. And pumpkins! Scarecrows! Cute Halloween aesthetics or beautiful Samhain-themed stuff is my thing. Slightly eerie but nothing scary.

I'm probably so obsessed with Halloween because my birthday is very close to it and I consider myself a real Halloween child!

I live for Halloween! Bring on the candy and buckets of fake blood!!! Some of my favorite things are horror movies (especially the terrible B-lost ones that are kinda funny)and spooky halloween decorations. I also love creating costumes myself and doing all kinds of wonderful fall activities like pumpkin picking, movie snuggles, baking cinnamon rolls, the works! I party it up like it’s halloween year round

I love halloween! And everything spooky and gorey.   I start planning mid june.
Actually if I can't sleep i just have to start watching something like forensic files and I'll drift off to sleep in no time. Daddy hates it, he thinks scary movies are boring. And he sometimes complain about getting waked up at night, to people screaming for their life. With me sleeping like a baby beside the computer.   So I have to turn the sound down really low now.

I love Halloween and dressing up I get to dress up every anytime i want till Halloween for work but dont like setting things up. Comes with working in a party store I guess. But I enjoy it most times.

halloween is def one of my favorite times of the year!! really luv the cold weather, the excitement that surrounds it, the candy, subtle dressing up and the halloween section at stores. don't really like watching scary movies (im a wimp), but def do enjoy watching tim burton movies (espec. corpse bride its my favorite, literally is my whole heart).

I love spooky. I'm suspicious of scary.

 

I LOVE ghost hunting shows, especially Ghost Adventures, but I avoid horror movies.

I'm a big fan of Halloween and scary movies and dressing up!  This is a special time of year because of the season changing, autumn is happening and it's the celtic new year.

 

This year I'm watching scary movies (I don't find many movies actually scary) every night for October and then I usually watch the same scary movies on Halloween  itself after a party!

hmm as for scary movies...idk first of all i am very confused by the idea of finding something scary enjoyable...it seems that some people do but yeah that confuses me haha

plus i don't find scary movies scary as much as predictable, using the same sort of themes again and again. I might watch them if im in the mood for some 'empty' or shallow entertainment

 

the ones i really do like though are psych thrillers.

Halloween has always been my favorite holiday. I still wear costumes every year. I'm always happy when I'm celebrating it. Every year I will binge watch a lot of scary movies and get plenty of snacks. I'm looking forward to next year already, haha!
