sneaky_ninja_bunny Posted September 10, 2015 Report Posted September 10, 2015 So since I'm 18 and don't have the money to move out from my parents yet, I struggle sometimes to really let out my littleness. I can watch Disney movies normally and generally get all my colouring books without family questioning. But the minute I try bringing home stickers or my dolls and stuffies, I generally have to sneak it into my room so my dad's won't see. It gets really stressful sometimes especially since I can't really go into little space without being on edge that someone's going to catch me in the act. Does anyone else struggle with this or have any advice?
lilvioletcub Posted September 11, 2015 Report Posted September 11, 2015 I'm 24 and I still live at home as well what helps a lot is using your own money or keeping it to birthday and christmas when it comes to the more physcial aspect for example stuffed animals (in my case I still have a lot from when I was younger but I did collect benie boos for a while). With me I collect dolls and while I feel childish for it asking for dolls or MLP blind bags for christmas/brithday doesn't feel as "off" as asking say every time you go to a wallmart Another way to not feel so hidden is find days your alone or know your alone for example I have days off sometimes and I know roughly when my parents come home on those days so I can sit back and be as little as I want or need. 1
Daddys__kitten Posted September 11, 2015 Report Posted September 11, 2015 Hi sweetie! I think I have a pretty naive view of the world and do alot of stuff that other people would find wierd, but since I have that naive attitude and are really sweet to people around me, my acts gets overlooked. Like when I studied at university, I had a huge mlp crush. I talked about mlp with my classmates and decorated my books with mlpstickers, I brought my mlps to lectures and played with them. My classmates even got me a mlpset for my birthday ♡♡♡ I may sound like a total retard now, but not for one second I thought that I was doing something wierd, I was just having fun. The only retardthing here is that I didn't realised that I was a little, haha! What I'm trying to say here is that if you are confident in what you do, most people won't care about it, no matter how "wierd" it is.
Daddys__kitten Posted September 11, 2015 Report Posted September 11, 2015 Abnormal psychology and mlpstickers, oh well..
Guest Penny Posted September 11, 2015 Report Posted September 11, 2015 I think you an I are two peas in a pod daddy's kitten! I've always been into little kid stuff, so much so that my friends threw me a Disney princess party for my 25th and didn't think of it as weird, they just accept me for who I am. They don't know I'm little but that I like little things and that's okay I give zero farts about what other people think, I am who I am an she's right, If you're confidently weird no one questions your weirdness!
sneaky_ninja_bunny Posted September 11, 2015 Author Report Posted September 11, 2015 @Lilvioletcub I've tried using my own money for all my stuff since I recently got a job. The only issue is that there's a rule for my household that I have to show what I use all my phone on. I'll have to check my parents shifts more often. They're always changing x/ @Daddys_kitten Thats really good way of looking at it. I'm going to try to be more confident about it. Thank you both for the advice!

sneaky_ninja_bunny Posted September 11, 2015 Author Report Posted September 11, 2015 Oh no you were a big help, and you've been a little more than I have so there's no reason to worry about giving advice, or saying the wrong thing. Any input is great C:
Magi Posted September 11, 2015 Report Posted September 11, 2015 I have a friend who is not a little who gets stickers all the time. I would just say use them how you like. There is always something special going on around you... Well she always found one, just finding that will be ok, and if you are making sure you put money away I am sure your parents will let you have fun money just don't go overboard. As for stuffies the same goes, I don't think they will mind you having them I know grown adults that have stuffed animals.

Magi Posted September 13, 2015 Report Posted September 13, 2015 I was just trying to say I don't think you have to hide it, and I don't think your parents will mind as long as you don't go overboard with it. Make sure you put money away and they should be happy. I make sure all my bills are paid and my payment into my car fun is done before I allow myself any fun money 1
