shadowrider Posted September 4, 2019 Report Posted September 4, 2019 Leave it to Danny Kaye to derail the game without even being here lol. The Court Jester is an all time favorite of mine. If you try and keep your eyes open when you sneeze will your eyes really pop out of your head? 2

If you try and keep your eyes open when you sneeze will your eyes really pop out of your head? Truly, one of the most wonderful old movies out there! I totally miss him. *climbs to the top of a ladder in front of a bookshelf, and brings down an old purple journal that is humming slightly* Let's see... Uh... Ohh! ...YES. They will pop out, *but*, it only happens for like a nanosecond before the super-fast and helpful hummingbirds who live in our eye sockets tug them back into place! ( That's why some people are able to pop them out more. They have a habit of popping their eyes out so often that their hummingbirds get tired and it takes them longer. ) 1

"Why do fae only come near me when it rains??" *adds some sauce to the fire while pulling a plain calculator out of her dress pocket to do some calculations* *squints at the readout* Hm! It seems that the fae only come near you when it rains, because that's when the petrichor in your soul's aura grows enormous amounts of Gossam Roses. They approach you to gather some. Also, they SHOULD be leaving behind Spatial Dew, wrapped in linens, in exchange. (( If they aren't doing this, then definitely apply for a refund. )) *pulls a book from underneath the desk and cross-references it with the calculator* Hmmm... Cara Innes Posted September 4, 2019 Author Report Posted September 4, 2019 (edited) Why did it rain outside last night but not inside the house? *she blinks* ... Oro? *Then leans in conspiratorially, wide-eyed, and whispers*: It's because, your roof? Is a secret agent!! It's "Unlisted" with the V.U.A... the 'Valorous Umbrella Association'...which cannot be found in any book, because then, that would blow its cover! *She nods, then puts a finger over her lips, as to swear secrecy.* Edited September 4, 2019 by Cara Innes 1

Cara Innes Posted September 7, 2019 Author Report Posted September 7, 2019 (edited) How long does it take for a little to spread glitter and smiles wherever they go? Oooh!! A tricky question, and a quantum physics question, too! Those get so interesting! One moment, please! *Hurries to a shelf on the left, scans through and finds a big iridescent book with three different covers, and brings it back to the desk, thumbing through an index in the back of it that gives out a faint tinkling sound* Ummm...okay! *adjusts glasses* It says: "An array of studies of Littles in their natural habitats discovered that they spread Glitter(glt) and Smiles(smi) within two different frames of time: the 'Practical', and the 'Potential'. The 'Practical' time framework depends on various factors, such as the proximity of other Littles (especially friends), the presence of Daddies and Mommies (especially any CG belonging specifically *with* the Little in question), levels of fun and/or naughtiness, levels of happy and/or sadness, levels of hyper and sleepiness, levels of grilled cheese, levels of worry, levels of bravery, Paci Availability, and, Stuffie Support. Within a 'Practical' framework, a Little can spread Glitter(glt) and Smiles(smi) as quickly as 3 seconds (if conditions are highly favorable), or as long as two weeks (if conditions are highly unfavorable). However! Within a 'Potential' time framework, EVERY Little can actually spread significant measurements of Glitter(glt) and Smiles(smi) in a quarter of a nanosecond! This is because their Littleness, (even if it may be hampered or limited by outside factors within Practical frameworks), pervades and has infinite potentials on quantum levels. So: even if the Little is struggling or if they're unable to find friends or a CG, yet, *because* they're still who they are, they're still Sparkling Brightly Within The Quantum Realm -- and so they still manage to brighten things a 'little' (hehe) bit in the practical realm, even when they feel sad, insecure, or unsure. Cara Innes Posted September 8, 2019 Author Report Posted September 8, 2019 (edited) I was wondering why ice cream is just so darn addictive! And what about unicorns? Why am I so obsessed?? Hi, Squiggy! Lovely to see you at the library today! ^0^ *Searches among the rows of shelves* That's an awesome combination of questions, too, because my big sister told me that Ice Cream was invented by a secret community of Unicorns in the tropics in 1808! I'll bet the answers are related. Let's see, let's see...Unicorn X-treme sports...Unicorn Tree....Unicorn Rumba... Unicorn Pants... Here we are! Unicorn Obsessions! *even though she's tall, she stands on her tippy-toes to reach the top shelf, for a rainbow-colored, thin, wide book with all kinds of folded diagrams inside...so many that it looks like it shouldn't be able to fit* *unfolds some of the diagrams which fit together to access the index, then flips some pages* It says, "The Unicorns living in the secret underwater community located off the coast of Martinique Island, called 'Tanama Wadá' (meaning 'Butterfly Garden' in the region's native language), invented Ice Cream in order to help treat Unicorn Obsession. Unicorn Obsession is a very natural psychological reaction to the magical aura of unicorns, to which some persons may have a sensitivity -- especially those who are magically inclined. So they felt bad about that and decided to make some medicine. The coldness is meant to soothe the fever. The blended combination of milk and sugar fortifies the person's reason and resolve. Meanwhile, the different flavors serve to enhance happiness, and to enliven the imagination and senses in ways that have nothing to do with Unicorns -- and therefore, the delicious flavors serve as a distraction *from* Unicorns." Huh! I guess that's why Ice Cream is addictive. It has to be addictive. Otherwise, it wouldn't be strong enough to help manage your Unicorn Obsession! Edited September 8, 2019 by Cara Innes
