Do Any Littles Play with American Girl Dolls?

Hiya!

 

So, I recently just stumbled upon a post on FB Marketplace that a seller was selling an AG Doll and some clothing/accessories for forty dollars. I thought this was a really great price especially because the doll was in great condition and came with some accessories. For reference, AG Dolls are normally a hundred dollars or more. 

 

Anyways, it got me thinking how I should get back into playing with the ones I have. At this point, I have 5 dolls before buying my new one. When I was younger I remember it being so fun playing with my dolls, doing their hair, and changing their outfits.

So, it got me thinking. Does anyone else play with AG Dolls? Or Our Generation Dolls? (or anything similar) What is your favorite thing to do with them?

I’ve never been much into modern dolls. I think Barbies and Bratz look trashy (personal opinion, it’s fine if other people like them). However LOL Surprise Dolls grabbed me, with their big eyes and ability to both pee or spit. Lol

We don’t have AG Dolls where I’m at, they’re cool from the pics I’ve seen though.

But I do like setting up my porcelain dolls with their lil doll furniture.

And now talking about it I wanna get a lil doll tea set. e.e

I love American Girl! I’ve never had any of the dolls but I had a collection of the books for a while. I think having a doll would be really fun though!

Not yet, but I've always wanted one! I've been looking at some cheaper alternatives to AG, and I found these lovelies on Amazon (SFW) who are much cheaper. When I move to a slightly bigger apartment and have a chance to set up a dedicated place for my toys (!!!) I'll get a doll and make her her own tiny bedroom.

 

Also, you should check out the YouTube channel MyFroggyStuff! It's a mom and daughter who make DIY videos for doll stuff. They mainly focus on things for 12 inch dolls (Barbie size), but they also do things for mini dolls and 18 inch dolls like American Girls.

I have American Girl dolls too! I’m actually trying to get rid of my collection so I can concentrate on other types of dolls but it’s hard to let go. Lol!

I doooo! I love them! I’ve loved them forever! I have “sleepovers” (they just sleep in my bed with me so I can cuddle them) and tea parties. I have three right now, but I want four so it can be an even number. I REALLY want more clothes for them too. Their names are Maryellen, the strawberry-blonde Historic one, Eliana (truly me 55), and Alaïa (truly me 44). Alaïa’s my favorite because she looks like me, but I want to do the create your own thing too.

I have American girl dolls even as a kid I was always more into dolls then stuffies I love to dress my dolls and do their hair and as soon as I get my own place I want to make an American girl doll house.

I play with our generation dollies well I have one right now they likes American girl. I live in Australia and is hard to get American girl but our generation is everywhere there's so many sets I have my eye on

I used to have one, but who knows where it ended up. I'm kicking myself for it now lmao.

 

I wonder if the old web games are still up. I LOVED the Felicity ones, like making tea and whatever. And the one where you had to help Kaya get home safely. I think I'll do some googling later

I still have mine and I still play with her while I’m little but it all really just depends on you personally , if you prefer ag or barbie or maybe you don’t even like playing with dolls. It’s all fine as long as you feel safe and are having fun!
