Hey guys I was wondering if there are other littles out there that enjoy things like metal music, horror movies or zombies when in space. I enjoy lots of fun cute things too. I love glittery stickers!! I was just curious.

Have you ever heard of Nightwish? They're a symphonic metal band, and the lyrics Tuomas writes often have to do with longing for a return to childhood innocence. There's a dark fairy tale vibe to a lot of the songs that I love, too.

 

Sometimes spooky things can be cute too; I enjoy the juxtaposition.

Hello! I like metal too! I actually went to a (power/symphonic) metal concert in May and chose to wear a cute skirt with my (black with a skull on it) band shirt and my hair in pigtails with pink ribbons and nobody batted an eye. Metal means you can be who you are and you don't have to adhere to stereotypes!  

 

A lot of the stuff I listen to has more complex lyrics so I don't tend to play those when little. Or songs that are not G rated. But simpler songs, or really cheesy power metal works great! And some metal ballads are very soothing to me. I also find that Avantasia (the band I saw in May) comforts me so I listen to them a lot.

 

Try the song Metal Is For Everyone by Freedom Call. The official music video features all sorts of ordinary people, including a number of children, singing along and dancing/headbanging.

 

Have you ever heard of Nightwish? 

 

Speaking of Nightwish, I'm pretty sure I've seen pictures of Tarja performing in her solo band wearing a tutu-like princess-looking dress. If she can do it, we all can do it!

 

 

I don't like horror movies or zombies ever though, unless it's in a silly parody way.

Ah, I also love Blackmore's Night! I discovered them during a faerie obsessed phase I had during 2012

 

Since you love them, may I recommend the song Moonglow by my favorite band Avantasia? Candice Night is a guest singer in it and appears in the music video.  I think you'll like it.
